Will etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver Fit 2021 Jeep Wrangler Sahara

Updated 10/07/2026 | Published 10/05/2026

Question:

Good afternoon, My daughter owns a 2021 Jeep Wrangler Sahara trim. I want to make sure that the hitch listed for the Jeep Wranger is a fit as no trim models are listed. She lives 50 miles away so its not that easy to look up underneath the bumper. I van have her maybe take a picture and send it to me. Its a birthday present so trying not to do that. Any way we have made you are go to after market hitch place because we have purchased two in the past with super easy installation and have been happy with both so far. Thank you

Hey Thomas! The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98856 fits all models of the 2021 Jeep Wrangler regardless of trim. The only reason this wouldn't fit her Sahara is if she has the EcoDiesel. No need to have her take pictures and ruin the birthday surprise!

What will she be using the hitch for?

@ThomasI you're welcome! The # e98856 will be perfect for a 2-bike rack, and its 350 lb tongue weight capacity will easily handle two 65 lb bikes. Hope she enjoys the birthday present!

Thomas, I installed it on a 2016 Rubicon, and it fit like a glove with no issues. Btw the pre-drilled holes may have the factory covers on them, and if so, the holes are easy to miss. Look for the covers.

@Perrypman thanks for sharing your experience! Good tip on the factory covers hiding the mounting holes too. That should help make the installation a little easier.
