Question:
I have a 2007 Monaco Knight Class A motorhome with two Duo-Therm 13,500 BTU AC/Heat Pump units Model : 630035.831 with a Dometic Duo-Therm Thermostat. Can I replace the bedroom unit with a Furrion 15k BTU Unit and the main unit with the 18K Btu unit? Im not sure if its a 6 or 9 pin connection but I will find out.

Hey Charles! All of the new AC systems moved to R32 in 2025 due to the new EPA regulations. The pin on the connector no longer matters when replacing old R410a units because you have to completely replace the system. It looks like that is a ducted setup so you can use the following based on color:
-Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w Air Distribution Box - Ducted - 18,000 Btu - Black # FR39TD
-Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w Air Distribution Box - Ducted - 18,000 Btu - White # FR99TD
-Furrion Chill HE RV AC System w/ Thermostat - 15K Btu - Ducted/Non-Ducted - Black - R32 # FR65TD
-Furrion Chill HE RV AC System w/ Thermostat - 15K Btu - Ducted/Non-Ducted - White - R32 # FR83TD
If you have a setup without air distribution boxes we do have some of the old Furrion # FR32PV left you could use with the existing setup. Otherwise, I would go with a new system with the ADB since parts are no longer available for these older systems.
Where are you headed with the Monaco once you get the AC replaced?

Hey Robin, thank you for the information. So, the old ADB should be replaced with the new unit? Lastly, I will no longer use the Dometic wall mount thermostat because the new AC's have individual remotes? Heading to TN for a couple of weeks later this year!
