Can Furrion Chill HE Air Conditioner Replace Dometic Duo-Therm AC Unit

Question:
I have a 2008 Doubletree Mobile Suites 5th wheel RV with a Dometic Duo-Therm set up for two AC units. I want to replace the main AC unit with the FR42 unit. All of the documentation that I see shows either a 6 Prong or a 9 Prong connector going to the roof top unit. In my case I dont have either connector. Please see pictures. All of my work will need to be performed on the roof as there is no inside access panel for this unit. Is it possible for me to use the FR42 in this setup?

Hey Phillip, thanks for reaching out!
Yes, the Furrion Chill HE Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Coleman Setup # FR42PV can be installed in place of your Dometic Duo-Therm system, but you may need to hardwire your connections since you're having issues finding a plug and play connector. You may consider using part # FR58PR in your case though, as this is the same air conditioner but it doesn't come with the Coleman wiring so you'll save a little money there.
I'm attaching the wiring diagram from the instructions for you to reference. If you haven't hardwired an AC unit before, you might consider having a qualified technician or experienced friend do it for you or walk you through/double check everything.

Hey Phillip, how did things go with wiring the Furrion Chill HE unit on your Doubletree Mobile Suites? Were you able to hardwire it successfully on the roof? Your update could make it easier for others working with a similar Dometic setup.
