Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Furrion Chill replacement white 15,000 BTU high efficiency RV roof air conditioner unit. Now, this is going to be a great option to consider if you're looking to replace your RV's air conditioner that uses the more energy efficient R32 refrigerant that meets the 2025 EPA regulations. Now, this air conditioner will work with your existing R32 compliant Furrion setup, but I do want you to be aware of the fact that this is not going to be backwards compatible with any air conditioner systems from 2024 and earlier. This 15,000 BTU per hour air conditioner will quickly and efficiently cool down the inside of your RV or camper.
This air conditioner will be compatible with your ducted or ductless systems and this will be a bolt-on installation. However, the bolts to install this, the hardware is not included with this. This is simply going to be a replacement air conditioner unit. Now, let me give you some measurements, just so you have a good idea of the size and just to confirm that this is going to work for you. Looking at the overall length from back to front, end to end, we're sitting at about 34 and 13/16ths inches long.
And looking at the overall width, we're sitting at about 27 and 9/16ths inches wide. The overall height, about 13 and 9/16ths inches tall. The unit itself weighs right at about 84 pounds or so, and I went ahead and removed the screws that secure our cover on the unit just so I could more quickly and easily remove the cover. So let me go ahead and pop this off so I can just give you a view of the inside. So this air conditioner does feature dual motors.
That is going to allow the fans to move cool air faster and more efficiently than a single motor. So I want to give you a view here from that angle. And then I'm just gonna give this a quick spin here. And then I wanna give you an overhead view as well. Maybe you'll be able to see inside of there just a little bit easier.
And this also has rubber dampeners on the compressor to help reduce vibration and noise. The EPP foam housing is water and chemical resistant, and the thermal insulation is going to help regulate temperature and prevent the motors from overheating. And then I want to go for just a slightly lower angle view here and show you that this does include a start capacitor. And so that's going to, as you probably know, give you that extra boost to help jumpstart the air conditioner when you're at a campsite or a generator that doesn't give you enough power. And the capacitors, you know, stores energy that will later be used for the next startup. So we have it inside of this metal box right here. So that is included, which is a nice addition to this unit. And then going back to our Y view here, I'm gonna go ahead and replace the cover, but it's really easy to, if for whatever reason you need to remove this cover, by the way, this is a pretty tough plastic UV resistant cover, but if you ever need to remove it to clean out your air conditioner or do some maintenance, all you have to do is remove the Phillips head screws and then you can just pop this off, do whatever cleaning or maintenance that you need to do. And then as you can see, the cover real quickly just pops right back on and then you'll just need to secure it with the screws to hold it in place. And then you can make your way down the road. I wanted to give you another closeup view here. You're not gonna be able to see it completely, but we do have foam pads here at the base. So these foam pads are going to seal this onto your roof as you're tightening down those bolts. And you have the foam pads here in the center as well at the opening. So that's gonna provide that seal, but also it's going to help reduce vibration and things like that so that foam's gonna be sitting in between the bottom of the air conditioner and, of course, your roof. This does include this wiring harness that you've probably seen spinning around. And I just wanted to give you a closer picture here. Lemme see if I can pull that up there real quick. So that's what the wiring harness looks like. So that's going to be the connector there. But I think that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that our brief time together has been helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
