Question:
Hi, I have a 2022 Arctic Fox slide in camper and asking about mounting the Furrion camera in place of the rear clearance light. I have a rolled up canopy about two inches below and to inches out from the camera. Can you tell me how much of the rear vision will be affected? Thanks

Hey Randy! I can't really say for sure if that canopy will be in the way of the Furrion Vision S+ Wireless RV Backup System # FR57AD. The camera can be tilted, and has a 140º viewing angle, but I expect it will be at least partially blocked by the canopy. I might be able to tell if you sent some pictures with the measurements, but I don't think it will be possible to truly determine the impact without installing it.
I'm assuming you want a camera one way or another so there are a few things you could do. If there is room for it, you could mount it above the light, or slightly higher than where the light sat, still tapping into the same 12V power wire. You could also put some kind of spacer block behind the mounting bracket to push the camera out a littler further to clear the canopy.
Where are you headed next with the Arctic Fox once you get the camera installed?
