Features to know about

See Rear and Side Views While You Maneuver

Large RVs have blind spots that mirrors do not always cover, especially when backing, turning, or parking. This Vision S+ system includes left and right side cameras plus a rear sharkfin camera, giving you rear and side visibility from the 5" touchscreen monitor. The system can display multiple angles at once, so you can watch more than one side of the RV during tight moves.

Get Clear Video With Wireless Camera Connection

Camera systems need a stable signal and clear picture when you are trying to place the RV accurately. These high-resolution cameras deliver 1080p video with infrared night vision, while the wireless communication system provides a stable long-range signal between the cameras and monitor. Touchscreen controls make it easy to switch between camera views and menu options.

Add Security and Recording Features

The cameras can also function as a security system with motion detection and recording capability. Video can be stored to an SD card for later review, and microphone integration captures audio for added awareness while backing up. SD card is not included, so add one separately if you want to use the recording feature.

Good product and great service

Easy to install. Works perfectly

by:

Easy, quick install on 27' FR Alpha Wolf. Screen resolution is excellent. Really helpful with backing up in neighborhood or at campsite. Also helpful while traveling in traffic to see all around.

by:

does not work

by:

The camera system was as advertised. Easy installation with very little time and effort.

by:

The Furrion Vision S+ is an excellent camera system. Installation went smoothly and the system was paired correctly to operate upon initial power up.

by:

Excellent service and a great product. Wiring diagram for side cameras would have made the install even quicker.

by:

Well….cameras keep losing signal. Guess I need to spend more time with the system? Review might be premature, but early assessment is mixed.

Hi Adam I haven't even opened the box yet. Camping comes out of storage April 26th!

by:

Installing this camera system was easy to do and the customer loves the clear display.

by:

I had a problem with the monitor. It didn't work but the customer service technician sent me a new one and I bought a second backup camera for my trailer and everything is working perfectly. Thank you to Andy. He was excellent getting me the right system for my motorcoach and trailer.

An excellent product, the best RV camera I have ever seen. The only complaint is the installation and programming instructions could be better. It took several U tube videos to confirm the proper wiring and programming instructions. Ordering the camera from etrailer was a delight with a knowledgeable and plesent representative on the phone. This was my first order from etrailer and was a delightful experience.

by:

I bought this for my 2026 Jayco northpoint. Unit was set up for it. Super easy install and works great. Only complaint is my unit was set up for two high mount cameras. One over the door and one center on the rear. Could not find the kit that would do all four locations. So had to order this kit and order a separate high mount camera. Other than that it works perfectly.

The camera system arrived quickly (one day ahead of schedule). I tested the system before installing and was impressed with the quality of the product. I will be installing the side cameras back from the front marker light because of the awning post. I like the fact that I can power the cameras separately from the marker lights. Thanks to Elijah for his professional service in making sure that I purchased the correct product for my situation. Etrailer has been taking care of my RV and me for 10 years.

by:

I installed this in place of the system that came from the factory on my 2022 Keystone Montana, 3760 FL. It's MUCH better! The video is much more crisp, and the monitor is larger. The factory system was a less expensive model of this same setup, so installation was a matter of minutes.

by:

The rear lens is so wide that the following cars seem much farther away than they are. Also with that perspective it is definitely not helpful in backing. The switch to the side cameras is so slow that it is unhelpful in most lane changes. The screen is difficult to see on a bright day. But it does improve at dusk and works much better at night. The camera is basically good for letting you know if someone is behind you and not much else. The bright spots are the microphone from the rear and the speaker on the monitor. It is much easier to hear when someone is guiding you back. Also the night vision on the cameras seems a bit better than daylight use.

by:

Good product. Would recommend. But didn't bring hardware for installation. Had difficulty finding screws with flat head as camera slides in and screw heads obstruct. So check before drilling by inserting screws and then sliding camera on before install to make sure camera clears screw head. I don't have a TT, so I had to do some modifications. Installed on Newmar New Aire above front tires. Wired side cameras directly to 12v, as well as rear camera, with a switch so i can turn on when in parking lots recording. Also to view outside RV when inside. Screen sits on kitchen table. Amber light wired to running lights. Trigger wire not used. Excellent for rear view watching while driving, but will take some getting used to when viewing 4 cameras at once.

by:

Works great. Easy installation on our 2025 Jayco Northpoint. But it was already prewired,so extra simple. Autumn was very helpful in ordering and helping with questions. I think I will now get the camera for the entry door. This is a great system with lots of easy options for what you need.

by:

Easy install. Replaced rear camera with existing wiring. The side cameras went in rather easy as well. Tip: removed inside panels in pass thru storage to access wiring. WHITE is the ground. GREEN is power. (2021 Imagine xls MLE) Monitor is incredibly clear - a visual upgrade!

Install was on a 2023 GD Momentum 395MS. RV had old Furrion Vision S already installed (older version - low resolution). RV was prewired, so install was a breeze. Just undo bracket, remove old adapter cable and rear camera plugged straight in.

For side cameras, you have to run a dedicated 12VDC wire for power, or use the power already there for the clearance light. Customer chose clearance light, so you simply replace the clearance light and make sure to wire the camera hot and clearance hot to the existing wire in the RV. Only shortcoming is that the cameras only work when the clearance lights are on. I added a 7-pin connector that I wired into the pin box junction box. This lets you plug the 7-pin into the truck to power cameras while driving, then unplug from the truck and plug into the new 7-pin receptacle. It then powers the cameras/clearance lights AND stows the cable up off the ground. I added a illuminated switch and the user has the option to turn off the power to the lights/camera and still use the receptacle for storage. They thought I was a genius!

My reason for only 3 stars is that while the cameras seem to work well and the range is good to the wireless display, I think the wireless display is not well implemented. It lets you see one camera in full screen or all 4 cameras at one. However, you can't select just 2 or 3 to be displayed. You can't select the order to display them in, nor can you rename the cameras to what you want (in case you didn't install where they think they should go). I literally had to swap two cameras to get the names to match. The system works OK, but the user interface needed more work. Since Furrion = Lippert, there is no chance they will ever try to improve the product. It is what it is.

See what our Experts say about this Furrion RV Camera System

  • Are Wireless RV Camera Systems Reliable
Hey Garth! The camera systems have come a long way in 10 years and they definitely work well and are reliable. I recommend the latest generation from Furrion, the Vision S+ # FR57AD. The Vision S+ gives you a real-time view using a 2.4 GHz signal and will avoid that signal interference you experienced in traffic in the past. This version comes with a 7" monitor and the main backup camera, a 5" monitor system # FR39DF is also available. If you want side marker cameras we also have the #...

  • Recommended Power Adapter for a Furrion Vision S+ Camera System to Work on a Newer Vehicle
If you're pulling your trailer with a 2026 GMC Sierra 2500, you'll need the 7-Way Vehicle Power Adapter for Furrion RV Observation Camera item # FR87PR. The newer truck's have a power management system that regulates the voltage sent through the accessory pin on the 7-way connector. This causes the signal issues when using a camera system like the Furrion Vision S+ item # FR69DF because it doesn't send enough consistent voltage. The 7-Way Vehicle Power Adapter item # FR87PR works similar...

  • Camera System 2022 Grand Design Transcend XPLOR 265BH
Hey Eric! Furrion is definitely the way to go for a camera system that can do both. However, instead of the Vision S you looked at you want the new Vision S+ # FR69DF (5" monitor) or # FR64AD (7" monitor). The S+ has better performance overall, and since it is the latest version you won't have to worry about finding parts if something gets damaged or fails. The Vision S has been phased out so parts are no longer available, and the cameras aren't backwards compatible. Any big trips coming...

  • Availability of Furrion Vision S+ With 5" Monitor
Hey Clark! We didn't have the version with the 5" screen so I went ahead and added it to our site for you. For the standard system we have the Furrion Vision S+ Wireless RV Backup System w/ 1 Camera - 5" Screen # FR39DF. If you want the side marker cameras as well you need the # FR69DF. What kind of trailer do you have?

  • Are Furrion Vision S+ Cameras and Monitor Hardwired For Power
Hey Scott! The rear and side cameras on the Furrion Vision S+ Wireless RV Observation System w/ 3 Cameras # FR69DF will be hardwired on the trailer. They typically tie into the 12V running light circuit. The monitor plugs in using the 12V adapter or USB-C adapter in your tow vehicle so it is not hardwired. The same is true for the 7" screen version # FR64AD. What kind of setup do you have?

  • What is the Signal Range for the Furrion S+ Vision Wireless Backup Camera System?
Hi David, The Furrion Vision S+ Wireless RV Backup System part # FR39DF signal and range strength is tested for up to 100ft at high speeds and extended range of up to 492 ft in open spaces. So, you'll have a stable and reliable connection from your camera to your in-cab monitor while towing your 29.5 ft Keystone Passport. Most 2020 Keystone Passports come prepped from the factory with a Furrion observation prep package so, you'll be able to tap into those wires to directly attach your...
