No Signal And PWM Fix For Furrion Vision S Camera System Connected To 2022 GMC

Question:

I have no signal on my furrion vision s7 camera. I took the shark fin off for winter and put it back on. I bought a 2022 GMC , turn my lights on and still no signal. Now what??

Thanks for reaching out, i have a couple things for you to do. Let me explain below:

*12V PWM Filter for RV Backup Camera Systems - Hardwire # VGR64VR.

The newer GMC vehicles use PWM(Pulse With Modulation) in their electrical systems. The Furrion Vision S can not handle the PWM. If you do not already have a PWM filter I recommend getting the linked unit above once it is wired in line with your camera it will fix the PWM issues.

Now to your "no signal" issue, to me this sounds like a power issue. There is probably an interruption somewhere along the power line to the camera. You'll need to get a circuit tester and make sure power is working its way back to the camera. I suggest doing all this while you are installing the PWM filter to get two birds with one stone.

If the camera is within range and you get a no signal its almost always going to be a power supply issue at the camera.
If you get power and it still doesn't work reply back and we can troubleshoot the other possiblities.

@ThomasD I would start by connecting the camera directly to the 12 volt power connection on the harness for the monitor on the Furrion Vision # FOS07TASF. This will help you to verify the camera and monitor are both working correctly. If you are able to get them to connect this tells me you have an antenna issue.
