Will Curt and etrailer Hitch Fit 2026 Ford Escape Hybrid

Both of the Curt hitches on your site for 2026 Ford Escape, C23YR and E89YR show compatibility with the Hybrid Escape but under the more information section they both list not for Hybrid and Plug in Hybrid. Please clarify. Note, on Curt website, their 13454 shows compatible with 2026 Escape Hybrid.

Hey Alan, welcome back! The Curt # C23FR and etrailer # e89YR fit everything except the PHEV. Both hitches will fit a 2026 Ford Escape Hybrid like yours.
Those are two different designations on the hitch and it can be confusing. The excluding Hybrid and PHEV means it fits all models that are not the Hybrid or PHEV, and then the Hybrid tag of course means it fits the hybrid models as well.

I own a 2023 Ford Escape Hybrid and purchased the Curts C23FR for my car. It was an easy install and fit perfectly. Some mild modifications to the bolt holes and had to remove brackets holding up the exhaust system. Pulls my 12foot utility trailer perfectly. Hope this helps
