Great product. Our 2024 escape did not require any modifications, all mounting holes were in the correct location.
The package I received had already been opened and was damaged. I'm guessing it was a return. I did go through everything and it appears that it is all there. Hopefully, there will be no issues with any of it.

The kit was basically pretty easy to install to get trailer lights for my 2024 Ford Escape PHEV. I would note that the instructions did not note the actual 12v battery hookup is under the spare tire carrier in the back. This actually made for a much shorter run for the 12 volt power for the modual.

Easy install great instructions
Although description says it fits 2026 Escape, wiring is for 2024 Escape. Minor modifications needed to install for 2026.
I was able to install this myself quite simple with our 2024 Ford Escape Plug-in Hybrid since the 12 volt battery is in the back. A better description of how to unlock the original connectors would have been welcome information though.You really need this type of unit because the wiring in the new vehicles is such a small gauge of wire.
Installation was exactly like the videos showed for our 2024 Ford Escape ST line. Pop off the trim, plug it into the wires going to the tail lights. set the grounding screw and put the trim back on. PLEASE NOTE- The Escape has a 12V outlet right where the harness goes. Rather than run a new wire from the battery, you can add a cigarette lighter adapter to the power cord and plug it in when needed, and unplug when not in use. WORKS GREAT!
The process of installing this wiring harness was very easy. As long as you are comfortable with connecting spliced wire, then it doesn't get much easier. The video from eTrailer was spot on. The entire process took just about an hour and that's from beginning to clean up. Would definitely recommend, at least for the Ford hybrid Escape. Time to tackle my son's Bronco Sport;)
Went in easy. Put the ground wire loop connector under one of the hold down bolts for the jack bracket. No self tapping screw needed for my SUV. Works as designed. Thanks.
