Looking for the appropriate bike rack hitch lock for the Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Rack I am about to order.

Hey Sally, thanks for reaching out. Yes, we do have a hitch lock that is compatible with the Kuat Transfer V2 bike rack. For that you'll need the following:

- Hitch Lock for Kuat Bike Racks - 2" Hitches # HL2

Will you be leaving the rack on the car between rides?

There may be occasions where the rack stays on the vehicle for a few days. It looks like this lock doesn’t thread into the rack/receiver like the one for the Kuat V1. Will the V2 rack still be wiggle proof?

@SallyL That's correct the Kuat Transfer V2 doesn't use a threaded hitch pin like other models. The V2 does have a built-in hitch tightener though so wiggle shouldn't be a problem.

@JesseM So according to the info I can find the lock you suggested will only work in a 2” receiver hitch and not the combo 1-1/4” - 2” rack. The specific rack is the KU64FR. What hitch lock(s) will fit this model # rack.

@Sally Ok gotcha. Looks like you already found it and got one on order but the Hitch Lock for Kuat Bike Racks # HL1 is what you'll need for the 1-1/4" hitch version # KU64FR.
