Question:

Planning to tow my 2019 Jeep Wrngler 4 Dr JLU Moab with factory steel bumber behind my 2016 Jayco Greyhawk 29MV 7500 towing capacity. Hey Anne! I looked over your list and you have pretty much everything. I'm going to link the parts below, with a few revisions to the list. You need the following:

-Demco Tabless Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # DM9519339

-etrailer XHD Non-Binding Tow Bar # e94ZR

-Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-15267

-Demco Stay-IN-Play Duo Flat Tow Brake System for RVs w/ Hydraulic Brakes # SM99251

-Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751490

-Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-156-25

The tow bar comes with safety cables and has a built-in rise/drop so you don't need cables or a high-low adapter separately. I removed the relay since it isn't required, and added a charge line kit. The battery doesn't drain while towing but the brake system still requires power so this makes sure you don't arrive to a dead battery.

Where are you headed once you get the Jeep set up for towing?

Just minutes ago got home from a trip from Ky to Gulf Shores and back pulling a 2023 F-150 with our 2026 Greyhawk and the HD 10,500lb tow bar. Unit worked flawlessly the entire trip. I walked around the campground and looked at many different tow bars and this etrailer unit looks so much more heavy duty than the others.
