Bracket to Lower And Extend 7-Way Adapter From ETBC7 on 2022 Toyota Highlander

Struggling with the installation of the 7/4-way mounting bracket ETBC7 package on hitch receiver of my 2022 Highlander. It seems like I need an additional bracket to extend both the drop and distance from the rear of the bumper. I do not want to “cut” any part of the bumper to gain the necessary clearances. Please advise. Thank you in advance.

Hey Harry! It is hard to say without actually seeing the way your hitch/vehicle is setup, but I believe the Curt No-Drill Bracket for 6-Way or 7-Way Round Trailer Connector Mounting Bracket # C57202 is the best solution here. You can mount it vertically on the cross tube of your hitch, then either bend it out at 90º or pick up an additional 90º plate/elbow locally to attach the # ETBC7 bracket.
