Hey Gus, if you have room for it the Kenda 215/60-8 part # AM3H323 is wider and has a higher capacity at 1,165 lbs and is 8.9 inches wide. What you have now would be 5.8 inches wide so this is about 3 inches wider. Diameter is basically exact same. Would this be wide enough?

I up graded to the d class so I can haul a little more weight, If I ever have to replace them it’s the only tire I will put back on, I really like them. Have tires on a 8x8 Double wide Snowmobile trailer with 2 foot sides.

I put this same tire and wheel combo on a Leisure Lite camping trailer that I pull behind a motorcycle. Last fall, we did a trip from Alabama to Sturgis to Montana through Yellowstone National Forest, and on down through the Tetons and Cody, Wyoming. We then returned to Alabama by way of going through the middle of the country. 80 mph on open roadways. I have since pulled this trailer over 500 miles more. I have over 5000 miles on these tires now. Really didn’t expect to get any more where out of them than that mileage when purchased. To my surprise, they are not showing any wear at all! The trailer pulls great and sticks to the road through curvy mountains, even at higher than usual speeds. One day when they do wear out, I will definitely buy the same tire wheel combo. Etrailor.com is a great place to do business so I will buy them here again.

Gus, I bought these tires over a year ago and I have no complaints. The extra width gives my utility trailer more stability. Also, I been really happy with etrailer as a company. They have provided lots of information and follow-up. Steve
