Question:
Hi, I am looking at getting the Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs https://www.etrailer.com/Vehicle-Suspension/Toyota/Sienna/2006/F4155.html for the rear of my 2006 Toyota Sienna AWD. I looked at this same product on another site, and it was explicitly labeled not for AWD. Will this actually work or or is there another product I would need instead? Thanks

Hey Nathaniel, thanks for your question.
The Firestone Coil-Rite kit # F4155 is only designed to fit 2-wheel drive models, so it would not be the correct fit for your AWD Sienna.
For your AWD model, the correct option is the Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs # AL60732. This kit is designed specifically to work with the AWD suspension, so you won’t run into any fitment issues.
The helper springs will give you added support to help with sag when you’re loaded up, while still maintaining a comfortable ride.
What kind of trips are you planning with your Sienna?

Hi Nat, I had a 2013 Siena XLE AWD. It was easy to install, just raise the rear end and use stands to release the pressure off the springs. I checked the air pressure before towing my 6x12 trailer. It weighed less than 2,000 lbs. Great ride while towing the trailer. It's worth the cost. I didn't have more than an inch dip from the trailer weighing my van down. I hope this helps.

Hi, Nathaniel: I would recommend the Air Lift 1000 air bags. I installed them on my 2015 Sienna LE that I often use as my handyman work wagon, loaded down with tools, materials, etc. The bags are fairly straightforward to install, although it takes a little time. This eTrailer YouTube video helps a ton: https://youtu.be/EF4UALNJcw0si=mz08Sefo9tbrlvja Ride and handling are significantly improved with the bags inflated. Handling is actually pretty amazing with a heavy load. However, the ride when empty (bags at 0 pressure) is rougher than the factory ride. It's a tradeoff worth considering. Good luck!

Nat Ive used the air lift 1000 on several different vehicles over the years and currently on a 2017 sienna FWD never had any problem towing campers or trailers usually around 2500 lb ……. couldn't do without them, they are the first thing I add to a vehicle purchase and their easy to install. Garry
