Heavy loads can make the back of your vehicle sag and throw off steering, braking, and headlight aim. The Air Lift 1000 Heavy Duty Air Helper Springs add up to 2,100 lbs of load-leveling support inside your existing rear coil springs. They keep your vehicle level when hauling or towing so handling feels steady, tire wear stays even, and your suspension isn’t overworked.
Every load is different, and these molded polyurethane air springs let you fine-tune for each one. Inflate them anywhere between 5 psi and 50 psi to balance comfort and stability. Run higher pressure when the bed or trailer is loaded down, then drop the pressure for a smooth factory-like ride when unloaded. Dual air lines can be added so each bag adjusts independently for uneven loads.
Installation is straightforward since the air springs fit directly inside the rear coil springs using basic tools. The kit includes tubing, Schrader valves, heat shields, and hardware. Manual inflation valves are typically mounted on the bumper or another convenient spot so you can air up with a standard chuck whenever needed. Add a compressor system later if you want in-cab control.
Each spring is made from durable molded polyurethane that holds up under real work conditions. The material resists cracking and fatigue while expanding smoothly inside the coils for consistent support. With a lifetime warranty and a 60-day satisfaction guarantee, this setup is designed for long-term reliability without worrying about leaks or premature wear.

Hey Michael. You're my vote for employee of the month! I'm also glad that they smoothed out your ride. There's nothing worse than a white knuckle drive.

My original review is still valid. They do seam to be holding up - keep in mind, we only need to use them about once a month. Also, I was able to install the pump and intake filter in well protected spots so they don’t get much undercarriage abuse.

The springs are rated for 50 psi. I inflate mine to 45 psi when I tow my RV. My half ton truck will still squat a little, but nothing like before. Overall, I’m satisfied with the performance of these springs.

My review remains excellent. Any concern that the product will not function over time are gone. It has been two years and they work the same as day one!

Kevin, at 77 years young, I'd say crawling around under the truck for an install is pretty impressive! Thanks for sharing your experience. Now that you've had some time with the Air Lift 1000s, how are they working out for you? We'd love to hear how they're handling your load and whether you've noticed a difference in ride quality or leveling.
