Question:
I have a 2022 Honda Ridgeline with factor round 7 pin connector. I was thinking of adding a flat connector next to it. What do you have that I can use to do this? Again,I want to add a 4 flat plug in addition to the factory 7 pin.

Hey George, thanks for reaching out. You have a couple of good options to add a 4-flat connection alongside your factory 7-way on the Ridgeline.
The first option is to replace the existing 7-way socket with a combination 7-way/4-flat unit. Since the factory 7-way on your Ridgeline uses a standard USCAR connector, you can simply unplug the original socket and plug in a combo like the Curt Dual Connection Socket # C36GJ. This keeps everything clean and factory-looking and gives you both connectors permanently mounted side by side.
The second option is to use a 7-way to 4-flat adapter such as # PK12716. This is the quickest and most cost-effective solution. You would just plug it into the 7-way whenever you need the flat connector. It’s not as tidy as a dedicated combo plug, but it avoids any disassembly or wiring changes.
Both approaches maintain full functionality of your 7-way, so you won’t lose trailer brake, charge line, or lighting circuits. If you want the most OEM style setup go with the combo plug. If you prefer something simple and inexpensive the adapter works great.

Hey George, how did things go adding the 4-flat plug alongside your factory 7-way on the Ridgeline? Did you end up going with the combo socket or the plug-in adapter? Your update could make it easier for others looking to add both connections.
