Hello, friends and neighbors. I'm Steve here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look together at this Curt Bolt Kit for your adjustable channel mounted lunette rings. If you're not familiar with what those are, I threw a picture up here above my left shoulder. You get the lunette ring and then that C channel, that's what we're talking about. So this kit, again, of the bolts that you see there in the picture that go through the lunette ring, through the channel, hold it all in place.
Now you could purchase those other parts separately, the channel and the lunette ring. Again, those are sold separately. Now with this kit you are gonna get two five-eighth inch diameter by five and a half inch long Grade 8 hex bolts. That's these big guys here. Those are for attachment to the lunette ring itself.
And then you're gonna get two one-half inch by one and a half inch long, these little small guys here, Grade 8 hex bolts for mounting the bracket itself onto the trailer. You also get the two lock nuts, the washers, and the large washers as well. Folks, it just have a nice one year limited warranty on all the parts. I ordered this even though the Curt coupler came with its own bolts. I was glad that I did. This contains nylon insert nuts. The bolts with the Curt coupler did not. They also lacked lock washers.
I needed a lunette ring for a dump trailer and could not find one locally. I found a good selection at etrailer.com and ordered this one. It fits perfectly and installed in just a few minutes without and trouble. I ordered a new set of bolts to install it with, made it a breeze!
