Today we're going to be taking a look at part number C48601. This is the Curtland net ring for adjustable channel brackets. You can mount this forge in the net ring cupler and the adjustable channel bracket on your trailer to get a strong, durable attachment point for your pintle hitch. The weld on channel bracket and mounting hardware are going to be sold separately. This unit is made from a sturdy forge construction. It's going to provide durability and it has a really nice black powder coated finish on it to protect it from rust and corrosion.
A few measurements to go over real quick. The inside diameter is going to give us an opening of about 3 inches. Outside edge to outside edge is going to measure about 6 inches which is going to give the net ring a diameter of about an inch and a half. The mount holes are going to have a diameter of 5/8ths of an inch. They're going to be separated center on center by 2 inches. If we measure the width of that mounting base it's going to measure 2 and 7/8ths of an inch so this is going to work with channel brackets that have an inside width of 3 inches.
All you have to do is slide it in that channel bracket, line up the pin holes, and install the pins and clips. This is also going to offer a towing capacity of 12,000 pounds. Now a couple options that you have when it comes to adjustable channel brackets that we offer here on our website. First one is going to be part number C48650. That's going to be a Curt 5 position, adjustable channel bracket. And then the next one is going to be a Curt 3 position adjustable channel bracket.
Part number c48610, you can pick one of those up if you don't already have one. They are going to be sold separately. That's going to do it for our review of part number C48601. This is the Curt linet ring for adjustable channel brackets. .

Excellent quality, really thick and tough steel.
Just got to welding this on with my buddy. Product itself is strong and seems very durable. Nice clean surface to weld to. So far I am very happy with the way it pulls. My only complaint is (which is partially my fault for waiting so long to open it) I ordered in advanced and then had to wait about a month for my buddy to be available to use his welder. Within that month I didn't realize the nuts for the small bolts that come with it to bolt the bracket on for extra strength were missing. When I contacted customer support they said their policy is I had to notify within 5 days so this was void. Although they were helpful on telling me what assembly package I could buy from them or what bolt I could buy from a store near me.
Arrived sooner than expected! Sturdy product. Great service. Will continue to use etrailer when needed.
