Today we're taking a look at part number DM09557-81. This is the Demco Lunette Ring for Adjustable Channel Brackets. The Lunette Ring is designed to couple with a pintle hitch. It's got the adjustable channel mount so it's going to let you change the height of the Lunette Ring depending on the application. Channel bracket and mounting hardware are sold separately. You can find those here on our website.
Now this unit is going to be made from a sturdy steel construction. It's going to feature a really nice black powder coat finish so it's designed to resist rust and corrosion. It is designed for a 3 inch wide channel brackets. We can tell that by simply taking the measurement from outside edge to outside edge here at the back. It's going to measure just under 3 inches so that's going to give it the room it needs to fit in a 3 inch wide channel bracket. Now, these mounting holes is going to be separated on center by right at 2 inches.
The weight capacity of this unit is 25,000 pounds. If we take a look at the inner diameter, measuring from inside edge to inside edge, that's going to give us a measurement of about 3 inches. The outside diameter from outer edge to outer edge, that's going to give us a measurement of about 6-1/4 of an inch. That means that it's going to give us a diameter here of the ring, of 1-5/8 of an inch. Again, sturdy steel, black powder coat finish, 25,000 pound weight capacity and I do have an adjustable channel bracket here just to show you how it would fit inside of one.
The channel bracket is going to be 3 inches wide. The holes are going to line up perfectly with the holes and the Lunette Ring. It slides in there and then you can change it when it comes to the height and just reinsert your hardware to get it secured.
