Today, we're going to be taking a look at part number C48660. This is the Curt Lunette Ring, with a weight capacity of 24,000 pounds. The Lunette Ring is designed to couple with a pintle hitch. It's designed for a channel mount application, so this portion here would slide into an adjustable channel mount, and that would let you change the height of the Lunette ring depending on your application. The channel bracket and mounting hardware are going to be sold separately. If you need some mounting hardware, you can use part number C48620. A three-position channel mount can be found with part number C48610, and the five-position mount can be found with part number C48650. It's going to have a nice, strong, forged steel construction, very strong and durable.
It's got that raw steel finish. Again, it's going to offer a weight capacity of 24,000 pounds. Taking a measurement of this portion back here, edge to edge, it's going to be about 2 and 7/8 of an inch. The holes on this unit are going to be separated center on center by 2 inches. The inner diameter of our Lunette Ring is going to give us a measurement of 3 inches.
Outer diameter, measuring from edge to edge, that's going to give us a measurement of about 6 and 1/8 of an inch. That's going to do it for today's review of part number C48660. This is the Curt Lunette Ring, with a weight capacity of 24,000 pounds. .

exellent. A very heavy duty adjustable lunette. purchased to install on one of my trailers so i can pull it with different trucks. As heavy built as it is i don't for see any problems with it.

I would suggest to etrailer.com that when y'all have an extenuating backorder situation, contact the customer with alternative options/suitable substitutes.
I was watching my order for about 7-10 days with no movement.
Had I not called and learned of a nearly 2 month backorder, I would still be waiting for parts, unknowingly it would be a 2 month delay.
That's unacceptable.

Just got to welding this on with my buddy. Product itself is strong and seems very durable. Nice clean surface to weld to. So far I am very happy with the way it pulls. My only complaint is (which is partially my fault for waiting so long to open it) I ordered in advanced and then had to wait about a month for my buddy to be available to use his welder. Within that month I didn't realize the nuts for the small bolts that come with it to bolt the bracket on for extra strength were missing. When I contacted customer support they said their policy is I had to notify within 5 days so this was void. Although they were helpful on telling me what assembly package I could buy from them or what bolt I could buy from a store near me.

The hitch worked great I bought this hitch plus a Curt Lunette ring C48660 for my pull truck. Used the hitch setup for the first time last night and worked flawless, I would definitely recommend this setup to my friends the price was great and the hitch is well built.Thanks etrailer
