Are etrailer Trailer Jacks e23ZV and e55ZV The Same Speed

Is the lift and retract speed the same for the e23ZV and e55ZV jack the same?

Hey Tim, this is a great question. So the when there isn't a load on the jacks both the part # e55ZV and the # e23ZV will be the same speed but as soon as there's a decent amount of weight on on the jack the higher rated part # e55ZV will be faster since it has a higher weight capacity of 5,000 lb over the other which is rated for 3,500.

Now if the trailer is just lighter weight in general the 3,500 lb rated jack would be close enough in speed that you wouldn't notice a difference.
