I have a 24’ Jayco Melbourne Prestige. I would like to tow my 2021 Jeep Cherokee Flat Tow, what would I need?

Hey Bryon. To flat tow your 2021 Jeep Cherokee, I recommend using the following parts:

Tow Bar and Safety Chains - etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plates item # e74ZR

Base Plate Kit - Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms item # RM-521452-5

Wiring Harness - Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit item # RM-15267 or if your Jeep has ParkSense Proximity Sensors then you will need the Roadmaster Smart Diode Kit for Variable Voltage LED Tail Lights item # RM63MR

Supplemental Braking System - Curt RVi Series Shadow 2 Flat Tow Brake System - Wireless Monitor - Proportional - Fixed item # RVI94FR

Please note that this braking system includes a charge line.

High Low Adapter - The tow bar needs to be within 3" of level. If you measure the height of the inside top of the hitch receiver tube on your RV, and the height difference is more than 3 inches above/below the base plate tab height, you'll need a high/low adapter. @BryonC You need all of the parts listed except for one of the wiring harnesses. You'll only need one of those. Does your Jeep have the Parksense feature or LED lights? If so you'll need item # RM63MR. The top two parts are just the mechanical part of the set up. Tow Bar item # e74ZR and Base Plate item # RM-521452-5 The rest of the parts will control your Jeep's brakes and lights and the charge line will keep the battery from dying on your trip. The brakes and lights part is legally required.
