Is Thule ReVert Vertical Bike Rack for 4 Bikes Safe To Use on Class III Hitch

Question:
Greetings, Will this be able to work with a Curt 2inch Class 3 hitch? I have seen disclaimers stating Curts Manufacturing warranty is voided. Does that mean its dangerous to use on such items...its a 2019 Chevy Traverse with Chevy installed hitch. Thanks

Hey Mike! The Thule ReVert Vertical Bike Rack for 4 Bikes # TH73VA is perfectly safe to use as long as your hitch doesn't have that restriction. The bike rack is designed for Class III hitches so I would double check with Chevy to see if they allow the use of vertical bike racks with the factory hitch.
Curt has this on some, but not all of their hitches depending on the rating and design. If I had guess they probably started to run into issues with some of these larger 6 and 7 bike vertical racks out there and people exceeding the tongue weight capacity so they added that note to avoid any problems.
The ReVert # TH73VA has its own requirements with a minimum tongue weight capacity of 500 lbs for the hitch. Thule is a really good company that does thorough testing so you can count on it being safe as long as your hitch has a high enough rating. Looking at the aftermarket hitches, I'm guessing you meet this requirement with your factory hitch as well. If Chevy says it is ok to use then you'll be all set.
