This hitch gives you the strength and stability to tow small campers, boats, and trailers up to 3,500 lbs gross trailer weight or 4,000 lbs when used with weight distribution. With a 525-lb tongue weight rating, it’s built for everyday use—whether that’s pulling a loaded utility trailer or hauling a bike rack full of e-bikes. The 2" x 2" receiver fits most towing and cargo accessories, so you can use the gear you already have without needing an adapter.
The hitch is designed for a clean, bolt-on installation using existing attachment points. There’s no need for welding or special fabrication work. The complete hardware kit and instructions are included, and the computer-aided design ensures everything lines up exactly where it should. That precision fit helps save time and makes it easier to tackle the job yourself in your own driveway.
The square-tube steel construction is fully welded for maximum durability and tested beyond industry standards under Draw-Tite’s “Tested Tough” criteria. It combines an e-coat base with a black powder coat finish that resists rust and corrosion, so it stands up well to road grime and weather over time. The result is a strong, long-lasting hitch that’s ready for years of towing and gear hauling.
You get solid towing capability without a bulky look hanging under your bumper. The visible cross tube keeps the hitch compact and functional while maintaining good ground clearance for everyday driving. It’s a sturdy design that blends strength with a straightforward appearance that looks right at home on any setup.

Product installed just as the video showed, which we referred to throughout installation. It works Great, sorry no pictures at this time.
Fits a Ford Edge Sport (2011 model) with no issues or cutting of the rear facia! Most others require cutting FYI. Installation video was great and I was able to do it in about 1.5 hours including a trip to the store.
Perfect fit for our car . we have used it many times since we installed it and it has worked flawlessly.
I would definitely use etrailer again!!!
Great hitch, quick delivery, and extremely easy to install when using the video instructions.
Product arrived on time and in great condition. This hitch fit my car perfectly and the instructions provided were great (also used the YouTube install videos). Overall, great experience!
Easy to install; did it with only one person, a floor jack, and no vehicle lift (jacked the car up).
Excellent!
Shipping was super fast. I ordered on Saturday afternoon and it arrived Wednesday morning.
Fit was perfect, the directions were detailed and easy to follow.
Highly recommend the hitch and etrailer.com!!
Quick shipping. Great fit, all the items I ordered assembled together as they should. Thank you for a nice product, should work well for a long time.
Perfect Fit! My hitch arrived on time as described. I was sent an email when shipped and the tracking allowed me to see where my hitch was as it traveled across the country on its way to me. Great Service and communication. Thanks
This hitch is well made and should last for a very long time. Easy install with concise instructions made for a one man job. Fitment was great and the hitch tucks up nice and tight under the rear valance. Looks like a factory install. I put it on a 2014 Ford Edge Sport. Looks great.
First off, the customer service was amazing. They initially had some trouble filling my order but kept me in the loop the best they could and even offered me a similar product at one point to keep me satisfied. I will recommend them to everyone. Now onto the product. The installation videos were very helpful and made it a breeze to install. Great job guys!
So far so good we use it four to five times a year when we go away very easy to use.
Great product. We bought it so we could get a hitch mount bike rack for our Ford Edge. It hasn’t given us any problems! Not too difficult to install if you follow the instructions closely.
Had to spray paint a few scratches to prevent rust after installation but seem to be holding great so far. Rocking Kuat Base 2.0 with extension for 1 bike on it. Very solid.
The company is great to deal with and helped on my order to obtain the right Edge Sport hitch. The hitch installation was just as the instructions listed but the wiring was a little different. On the passenger side the connectors were to large to snake in behind the light and I just had to cut the two wires and solder them back together when I put the connectors in from the outside. Other than that is just took time to run the wire to the front. I would recommend the etrailer company.
I actually haven't installed the wiring yet. Hitch is solid tho
Awesome the fit it 100% correct for a Ford Edge sport and installation was easy
Amazing product! I got it to carry my receiver hitch mounted dirt bike carrier. Works perfectly and the shipping was extremely fast. I’m talking (another site) prime fast. It was at my door 2 days after I ordered and excellent tracking too!
Great hitch?? Went it extremely easy and loved the free shipping. Etrailer is a great company to order from??
Was able to install hitch without a second set of hands by using a motorcycle jack to lift the hitch into place. Once it was in place , i threaded the bolt guide , tighten the nuts and bolts and done. Seems sturdy but haven't tested it yet.
Pretty easy install on 2013 edge sport. Looks great and worked perfect for cross country move towing a pretty big trailer, especially for the size of the edge. Ran the wiring through the inside in the door sills for a much cleaner look, as well as the wiring adapter I mounted on the hitch. There is no was I was going to do the "hang the cable out the back door" as was shown in one of the install videos. Instead it looks clean/factory and functions perfectly.
Fitment could be a little bit higher onto the body but not bad for a bolt on kit
The box came absoluetly destroyed, and the hitch had some superficial damage as a result of the shipment
Did my first SUV a couple weeks ago, so figured I’d do a second one. This one went on easily. Directions were good. I was able to modify the heat shields without removing them completely from the car (just the bolts that needed to be removed anyways). I also was able to accomplish this install without a second person, though a second person would have made it significantly easier. The lead wires were a little intimidating at first, but once I got the first one figured out, the rest were easy (just need to have a little patience). I also left the wires on the bolts until I was ready to put on the nuts (threaded them through the holes on the hitch). I was also able to reattach the support for the plastic rear valence, which was not shown on the video. All in all, a 10.

Happy with product. Light duty use only - bike rack. I leave the bike rack on most of the time. Some slight surface rust where paint is chipping - no big deal though. Might require a wire brush and spray paint in a decade - car will be long gone by then!
Great hitch and easy wiring to install make this setup perfect for my towing needs. As always e trailer provides great videos with easy to follow instructions on how to complete the installation. Would definitely recommend these products and e trailer for your needs.

Hey Steve! What kind of dirt bike do you have? My co-worker Jameson is really into dirt bikes and he’s wondering what kind of bikes you’re carrying.
