Question:
I currently have a furrion AC Unit FACR13HESA-BL. It is manually controlled, and I would like to install a thermostat. It is only used in one room it isn’t ducted in. Can you please advise me what I need to purchase to perform this task?

Hey Mitchell! What kind of trailer do you have? It may be possible to make this conversion but we no longer have all of the required parts. You will need the thermostat # FR33PR, controller # FR43PR, and then a new air distribution box (ADB). Since everything switched this year to the new R32 refrigerant the old ADB was discontinued and is no longer available/in stock. You might be able to get one from Furrion directly if they still have some so it is worth checking.
If you can't get the ADB, and you still want a wall thermostat, the only option would be to upgrade to a new R32 AC system. You could get the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System - Single Zone - 13,500 Btu - Black - R32 # FR25TD which would be like the one you have now. You could also upgrade to the new Furrion Chill Cube # FR59TD (white) or # FR27TD (black) which uses a remote so you wouldn't have to run wiring for a thermostat.

Hey Mitchell, did you have any luck finding the air distribution box from Furrion, or did you decide to upgrade to a new R32 AC system? I'm curious about your choice as it might help others facing a similar situation.
