Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this replacement wall thermostat for your Furrion Chill HE RV air conditioner. Now this thermostat is specifically designed to work with your Furrion Chill HE air conditioner setup, so this is gonna be a perfect replacement or upgrade and this is built to handle the unique power and space constraints of mobile environments. This thermostat is made to work with systems using R-32, which is becoming more common in newer RV air conditioning units. This is not backwards compatible with any air conditioner system from 2024 and earlier. So because it's updated to work with air conditioner units using the new R-32 refrigerant to meet the 2025 EPA regulations.
So just keep that in mind. This is gonna be ideal for smaller RVs or trailers that only need one climate zone regulated, so it simplifies temperature management without the complexity of dual or multi-zone systems. The digital display is gonna show your settings, obviously, and the LED back light's gonna make it easy to read the temperature and settings even in low-light conditions. So this is gonna be great for late night adjustments or dim interiors. You're gonna get four operation modes and two fan speeds to optimize your temperature.
The sleep setting's gonna keep your RV cool at night while saving power and reducing noise. And then the automatic restart is going to restore most recent settings after power interruption. This has a temperature range from 60 degrees Fahrenheit to 86 degrees Fahrenheit. Let me get my ruler here and just go over some measurements with you. Looking at the diameter, as you can see, we're at three inches, and the thickness, pretty close to one inch deep.
I do wanna point out that mounting hardware is not included with this, that's something you would have to reuse if you already have it or supply on your own. And then instructions are included to guide you through the installation and the operation of this unit. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today. I do hope that our brief time together was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me.

I have confirmed with Lippert that the R25 controller can be used with R410 air conditioner contrary to what is said on Etrailer web site. In the Lippert web site they specify say that R25 components can be used on R410 units but R410 components can not be used on R25 systems. The difference between the controller is the R25 controller has a sparkless relay. All other functionality is the same. They say it’s plug and play. I will be installing it today.
This thermostat in combination with the single zone controller provides room temperature control instead of return air temperature control which works much better while at the beach with no shade. The back light goes off after a time delay. Lippert said all future AC units will use room temperature control instead of return air control. I am thrilled the new thermostat and controller are backward compatible for older AC units. Installation was easy. instructions were useful.
Awesome product. It along with the matching control box solved common problem of Furrion Ac short cycling.Moved the temperature sensor to the thermostat and out of the ac itself.
Installed with ease performs admirably which is to say thus far it is doing its required function.
