Can Timbren Kit be Adapted to Go from Ram to Chevy Silverado

Updated 09/08/2025 | Published 06/01/2025

Question:

Hi Team, I bought Part Number: TDR2500D for my 2015 Ram 2500 Tradesman. They work great, too great and create a rough ride if I dont have a ton of weight in the back. I wanted to see if there was a way to make them fit on a 2005 Chevy Silverado 3500 4x4 rear. Before I decide to sell them. Looking at sumo springs now as they have a lower capacity 2,800lb vs 8,600lb. Thanks, Keith

I wish there was a way to adapt them to a different truck but that's just not how they are designed. I think you'll like the SumoSprings # SSR-312-54 better though.

Hey Keith, did the SumoSprings you purchased help improve the ride on your Chevy Silverado? I'm curious to know how they worked out for you, as it could give others confidence when choosing the right springs for their trucks.
