Question:
I have a 2010 GMC Sierra 1500 4WD SLT with a 3inch lift kit. The rear appears to sit slightly lower than the front and I want to pull a small camper that weighs 3000lbs. Will P/N AL88211 fit my truck with the existing lift kit and help level the suspension even when not pulling the camper?

Hey Cheyenne! What size is your truck bed? If you have the 8' bed then the Air Lift # AL88211 is the correct part. If you have a shorter bed you need the # AL88204 instead. These will work with your lift kit and help level your suspension. The nice thing about them is that they are adjustable so you can set them however you want for regular driving and then for towing.
With that 3" lift you will also need to add in a spacer. To find the correct spacer you need to use the formula H - A = S as seen in the picture below. He is the distance between mounting surfaces, A is the air spring design height, and S is the lift spacer. Both kits use the 58437 air spring with a design height of 6" so all you need to do is measure on your truck. More than likely you will need the 2" spacer # AL52420 but it is possible you will need the 4" # AL52440.
I also recommend adding an air compressor like the # AL25980. This will allow you to adjust the air bags no matter where you go from the cab of your truck. If you have any additional questions feel free to reach out in the comments below.

Hey Cheyenne, were you able to measure the distance on your Sierra to figure out which spacer size you needed with the Air Lift system? Knowing what worked for your 3-inch lift could really help others setting up a similar truck and camper combo.
