When you lift your vehicle, you create a gap between your frame and your factory suspension. Because of this, your air springs won't make appropriate contact with your suspension system and you won't get the support you're looking for. If you want both a lifted vehicle and the added support of air springs, then you have to close this gap. With Air Lift's universal air spring spacer kit, you can effectively do that, ensuring that your lifted vehicle will ride safer, handle better, and navigate rugged roads with ease. The spacers are installed between the air bags and the mounting brackets, closing the gap between your frame and your OEM suspension.

The spacers work with Air Lift's LoadLifter 5000 and LoadLifter 7500 XL, as well as other brands such as Firestone. And they are made of corrosion-proof Zytel nylon, a material that is both stronger and lighter than steel.

Received spacers and they are perfect. You guys are great, very helpful. Thanks again, will be calling again.

by:

They held up for alil but once my truck start to flex off-road, the teeth broke on them

by:

After blowing three fittings out of the top of the air bag, and calling Air-Lift, I found out that I needed the spacer kit, sold separately. My truck has the camper package and the additional spring increases the distance between the mounting plates in excess of the design. I missed that memo.
Air-Lift was very professional and responsive sending new bags and fittings within days. That is as American Strong as it gets.
With the lift plates, "Lock-in-Lift Spacers AL52130" installed, product works great.

To etrailer: Include the memo/diagram of the necessary distance between the mounting plates.

  • Will The Air Lift Cradles Work With 7500XL Springs on a 2021 Ram 2500 With 5" Lift Kit?
The Air Lift Air Helper Spring Cradles # AL59DQ are not going to be compatible with the Air Lift LoadLifter 7500 XL Ultimate Air Helper Springs # AL57589 on your 2021 Ram 2500. This is due to the 7500 springs being larger in diameter than the 5000 springs. So you would need to use the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs # AL88289 on your truck. Do note the cradles will add 0.83" to the height of the air springs. You will need to determine how much rear lift was added to...

  • How Do I Determine What Air Lift Spacers I Need For My Lifted 2004 Ram 1500?
Hello David, thanks for reaching out. It is possible to put air bags on your 2004 Ram 1500, and there are spacers available which make the kits fit lifted trucks. I suggest going with an Air Lift brand kit, part # AL57230 for 4WD trucks or part # AL57257 for 2WD models. If you are unsure of how much lift you have or what spacer you need, the best way to determine this is to install the upper and lower brackets, measure the distance between them and subtract the height of the air bag....

  • Recommended Rear Airbags on 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty with 4 Inch Lift
The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle # AL57391 are a confirmed fit for your 2017 Ford F-250 truck. Due to the 4 inch lift, you will also want to add the Air Lift Lock-N-Lift Spacers for Lifted Vehicles - 4" Lift # AL52440. This combination will give you the air springs compatible with your lift and will give you the manual inflation option. If you want to add the ability to adjust your air springs at any time, I recommend adding the gauge and compressor. The Air...

  • Air Lift Air Spring Kit And Spacers Needed For A Lifted 2016 Ford F-150 With A Gooseneck Hitch
Hi Tyler, When adding in air springs on a lifted vehicle the proper way to determine the correct sized spacer is to first install the upper and lower brackets and then measure the distance between them and subtract the height of the air spring bellow (bag). Not every lift is going to create a gap and not every gap is going to be an equal match to the lift kit (ex: a 2" lift might not give you a 2" gap). The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs # AL57385 you were looking at would...

  • Will Air Lift 5000 Air Bags Fit 2021 Ram 1500 With 3-1/2" Front and 2" Rear Lift
Hi Jeff; the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 # AL57375 or # AL88375 will fit assuming you have a 4 wheel drive model. Between the two, I would choose the one with the built in jounce bumper since it gives extra support and can protect the air bag from bottoming out. Since you have the lift kits you may also need a spacer and to find the right spacer you will need to measure. The formula for the spacer is H - A = S. H is the distance between mounting surfaces, A is the air spring design height...

  • Best Air Bag Kit For Lifted 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500
Hello Sam, thanks for reaching out. The Air Lift # AL88288 you were looking at is a fit for the 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500. When you say 4/6 I assume you are referring to a 4" or 6" lift. The air bags can be used with a lift kit, but you will need to purchase an additional spacer to compensate for the lift. We have both 4" spacers # AL52440 and 6" spacers # AL52460. Just note that a 6" lift does not always equate to a 6" spacer. The best thing to do is install the air bag brackets, measure...

  • Is Air Lift Spring Cradle Compatible With LoadLifter 5000 With Stainless Steel Roll Plates
The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 # AL88200 will work with the Air Lift Air Helper Spring Cradle # AL59DQ on your 2013 Ford F-150. The cradle actually replaces the lower roll plate so the air bag will sit directly in the cradle. I'm not sure how much of a lift you have, but you may also need to add spacers to your setup. You can use the following formula to determine the spacer you will need: BRACKETS - CRADLE THICKNESS (.83") - LIFT SPACER HEIGHT = ____ (DESIGN HEIGHT) We already have the...

For a set of air springs I recommend checking out the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers # AL88288. These springs have a load leveling capacity of 5,000-lbs, an adjustable air pressure range of 5 to 100 PSI, and is made in the USA. However, in order to determine which spacers are needed you're going to need to measure the distance from the upper and lower brackets and subtract the air spring's height which is 5-1/2". The best way to help reduce sag when towing your travel trailer with your 2017 Ram 1500 Bighorn having a lift is with a weight distribution hitch. Personally I fee the Equal-i-zer hitch systems are the best option as they are made in the USA and have a reputation as being one of the best available. You do need to select the correct system based on the weight of your trailer. 200-600lbs Tongue Weight, Trailer Up to 6,000lbs # EQ37060ET 600-1,000lbs Tongue Weight, Trailer Up to 10,000lbs...

You will definitely need a couple of spacers to add the Air Lift LoadLifter 7500 XL Air Helper Springs item # AL57538. Most if not all 5" lifts on Chevy trucks are not 5" in the rear because of the rake Silverado's come with from the factory. You most likely need a 3" spacer like item # F2367. The easiest way to tell what size spacer you need is to measure your lifting block. Separate spacers can be purchased to make the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs # AL57390 compatible with your 4" lift. A 4" lift doesn't always equate to a 4" gap so you'll want to install the upper and lower brackets and then measure the space between them. You can then subtract the height of the bag to determine the spacer size needed. Air Lift offers a 2" # AL52420 and 4" # AL52440 spacer to help bridge the gap.

Yes, you will need a spacer. The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs item # AL57341 are designed for the stock height on your 2024 GMC Sierra 2500. Which spacer you need is going to be determined by how big of a lift you actually have in the rear. Your lift kit moved the overload bracket that contacts the stock bump stop which is where the bottom bracket of the air bag will mount. To ensure that you have the correct height you will need to park your F-250 on a flat and level surface without any extra weight on the rear suspension.
