These adjustable, universal-fit dual lens towing mirrors expand your field of vision so you can better see your trailer or anything else that is behind you. The ratcheting strap system gives you a snug fit that reduces mirror vibration. Because the mirror arms adjust into several shapes, it can be attached to either the driver's-side or passenger's-side mirror on a variety of vehicles. Each of the mirror's mounting arms is jointed behind the mirror so the arms pivot inward or outward, and 2 additional joints in the middle of each arm add further adjustability so you get the perfect fit.
Built-in clips on the arms will grab the lip between the glass on your factory mirror and the factory housing. These clips are also adjustable to fit the thickness of your mirror housing.
The ratcheting system uses heavy-duty rubber straps to tighten the towing mirror securely over your existing mirror. A quick-release button in the middle of the ratchet lever allows you to unlock the ratchet mechanism for fast strap adjustment or easy removal of the mirror. When you install the towing mirror, use the ratchet lever to tighten the straps. When you have the straps securely on your mirror, close the ratchet covers over the ratchets to lock them in place.
A ball joint behind the mirror allows you to manually adjust the mirror face to different viewing angles. You can also turn the entire mirror face to a horizontal or vertical position - whatever works best for your application. Rubber pads on the straps protect the back of your factory mirror to prevent scratches when this mirror is installed for towing. Tools and other hardware aren't needed for installation, and the tight fit means there is no danger of losing these mirrors on the side of the road. You'll be ready to travel in minutes, and the increased field of vision will allow you to cruise the highways stress free.
These are easy to install. Once they are set up the first time they go back on very fast. Adjusting them is easier with some help unless you have REALLY long arms! The ratcheting system holds them very securely on my 2019 Ford Ranger. Zoom in on the picture to see. The straps are tacky enough to grip the mirror housing very well. Once installed properly I did not have to readjust them at all. The install video shows them being installed on a Ranger and they are as etrailer shows. They do vibrate some but I suspect all clamp on mirrors will. They worked well and gave me the vision I needed towing on the interstate and through town.
While the product I purchased from e-trailer stated that these mirrors would fit my 2023 Passport, they did not. The bottom clamps were made for a car mirror with a straight bottom edge; however the mirrors on my passport have a wide v shape and the bottom line is the clamps did not fit. Tightening both the upper and lower clamps caused the mirror to slide off the outside edge. There was no way to secure the etrailer mirrors to my 2023 Passport mirrors.
Connections seem very solid and initial tests the outer mirror stayed fairly steady even at highway speeds. The inner mirror has a lot of vibration at speed but serves the purposes for good blindspot detection while using the outer mirror for rear view. The way the ratchet straps and rubber blocks hold the mirror is much appreciated vs. other similar products.
These worked great on my wife's Yukon. Installation instructions were clear and direct. They held up very well traveling 75 mph down the interstate; No jostling around or coming loose. I loved the additional two mirrors. Having the three total different angles while pulling a trailer was extremely helpful. Would highly recommend this setup.
These are a well made product with seemingly sturdy materials my only issue is that they don’t fit my mirrors very well (Volvo XC-60). The shape of my mirrors requires me to cross the back straps to pull in opposition to each other which seems to work. They stayed on during a test drive on the freeway. The straps are well padded, leaving no marks on my mirrors after use.
The mirrors are difficult to install alone, and I never have anyone to help me. They shake loose and need to be rechecked at every stop.
I am looking for another solution and may consider going to a custom body shop for a more secure option for towing mirrors to use when towing my trailer.
I ordered for a Nissan Armada but can now verify that they will fit a 2024 Infiniti QX80. The straps are almost at their full length. They don't interfere with the cameras. A little vibration while vehicle is in motion. They do what I need them to do.
A bit challenging to install the first time. Instructions NOT clear, nor very helpful. Finally them attached. will see how well they work on the next trip.
The clamps hold onto the car’s mirrors quite well. But the towing mirrors shake so much as to be unusable while driving. Which in turn makes them shift out of position so they also can’t be used for parking without readjusting. The smaller outer mirrors do hold steady, so they at least are useable, but very small.
This extension mirror work well for towing our small trailer. It's supposed to fit our 2015 Audi Q5 which was what I entered when ordering. The problem is this mirror housing has an extreme curve and the mirror would slide off without another attachment aid. Before taking on the road the first time I attached a nylon strap with a Fastex buckle (3 ft from REI), tying the mirror arm back to where the mirror connects to the car body, and that did the trick.

I e used these mirrors for 2 years now, logging about 7 or 8,000 mi. They are very functional, have held up well and are fairly easy to install and remove. The fit issue I discussed in my first review stands: because of the curvebulge in my Audi mirror housing I have to use a strap to pull the mirror back towards the car to keep from sliding off.
I've tried multiple mirror styles on the Ford Explorer and these are the best. They stay on the mirrors which are curved and do a great job while towing the camper. The view is excellent and the quality outstanding. Highly recommend these. Other mirrors actually fell off on the highway as the small tabs that slide into the vehicle mirror housings are made of white metal and as you put pressure on them they crack.
The ratchet style connectors make this a perfect device for these curved mirrors on the car.

One year later and they are working great! We have taken many trips and so far they are the best.
This is my second pair of towing mirrors. The first ones were the twentysomething dollars and a big disappointing. I was spending over five minutes to arrange them just to start driving and have them move and be almost useless. These are fitting so much better on my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee! The attachment system is ferm and with a better grip on the mirror, the entire assembly is suddenly part of the car and the best thing is that you can adjust the two mirrors without moving the entire thing. When in the right position, you can see a lot more in the mirror so you can confidently move your trailer. Very satisfied with this product, fits very well despite being universal.

After one year of using these I am more than satisfied with this purchase. Every time the set up is fast and the mirrors are staying in the right place making them perfect right away. I am towing a wider travel trailer and these are providing the visibility I need.
Mirrors seem well built, though one tightening clip was broken. Installation was somewhat difficult, given my mediocre mechanical skills. Access to a more detailed video would be helpful. Since I just installed them, I have not yet had a chance to try them out.
Overall, mirrors worked well. Although I had to use a few "tricks" to get them secure. My truck mirrors are rounded on the end, so the end strap would not tighten, it kept sliding off. However, I found that if I crossed them over each other they stayed secure.
ordering was easy. the product was delivered quickly and without damage. I have a 2023 Colorado Z71 and was concerned about how the towing mirrors were going to attach to the tapered factory mirrors. the fit is superb. no movement during use so far.. I would recommend these to a friend.

These mirrors have been working great for over a year now. No issues, no problems.
These mirrors worked fine after I was finally able to get them attached. For my Ford Explorer, they were difficult to attach and needed additional straps to hold the mirrors securely in place.
Product itself appears to be adequate. My rating is based on the fact this item is advertised as fitting a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee. But the fact is it is too small and won’t fit the large mirrors on my Jeep. Had to return.
This pair at least stayed on while I was driving . I’ll keep trying but I’m not holding out much hope for safe backups into the garage with these . 2021 Ford Edge with a 16’ Lund boat behind it .
Put it on my passenger side. Works great. Easy to use with the straps. Well thought out design
The KS3990 works on the 2024, Jeep Grand Cherokee L Summit. I have not driven with them yet, I'm confidant they will do the job. The two mirrors are fully adjustable which is what I needed towing travel trailer. There are sensors in the mirrors on the Summit model that are now covered by one of the straps. Nothing I can do about it. I thought of crossing the straps but they are too short. If the straps had a swivel to allow for a little more adjustability due to the odd shape of the car mirror that would help miss the sensor too.
The mirrors are ok BUT the mounting assembly leaves much to be desired.
1 the straps wont stay attached untill mounted on mirror. Keep falling off in storage.
2 the clips that grab the mirror will not fit in the gap between the mirror and housing.
3 the arms don't conform to the shape of the mirror very well. 2025 tacoma i force max OR
4 Very contankerous and time consuming to hook up.
5 unfortunately is the best I could find.
Originally purchased for a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee and replaced with a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The mirrors worked great on both vehicles even with slightly different mirror shapes. I worry a bit about over tightening the straps but they work great and stay in place. I also used on a 2013 Toyota Tacoma a couple of times and worked equally. Well worth the cost!
Fast delivery and arrived safe. Product is great!! Love the extra outside mirror for the better side view when changing lanes and backing up. This is my second pair. The first pair I broke. My fault got to close to the garage door opening.
