For great air springs for your 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 High Country to help with tongue weight, I recommend the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers # AL88211 (for 8-foot beds only) or # AL88204 (for all other bed sizes). Not only do these air bags fit 2-wheel and 4-wheel drive models, they also provide you with 5,000 pounds of load-leveling capacity that can help with sag and increase handling. It is important to note that air bags are not designed to increase the overall weight capacity of the hitch. For these particular air bags, they are not designed to fit if you already have MagneRide suspension installed.
For greater customization of the springs, I recommend a compressor like the Air Lift Load Controller Compressor System for Air Helper Springs- Heavy Duty # AL25856 or the wireless Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System for Air Helper Springs - Remote # AL58WQ. Since both of these systems are dual-path, you can inflate each air bag individually for your desired firmness. Also, in addition to the Bluetooth capability of the WirelessONE, it provides you with continuous diagnostic reports to ensure that the air bags are running safely and efficiently.
