Features to know about

Stay Level and Confident Under Load: Up to 5,000 lbs of Load-Leveling Support

Hauling heavy loads or towing trailers can make your truck squat and throw off braking and steering. The LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate air springs add up to 5,000 lbs of rear axle support to keep your rig level and stable. By sharing the weight across all four wheels, they reduce strain on your factory suspension and help maintain safe headlight aim. Adjustable air pressure from 5 psi to 100 psi lets you fine-tune support for whatever you’re carrying so you stay confident on the road.

Smooth Out the Rough Stuff: Built-In Jounce Springs for Comfort and Control

Road shock and sway can wear you down fast when hauling, but the internal urethane jounce spring inside each LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate air spring softens every hit. They engage gradually at lower air pressures to absorb bumps and minimize bottoming out. The jounce springs also act as overload protection—if you lose air pressure, they temporarily carry the load until you fix it. The result is a smoother ride with less bounce, sway, and harshness whether the truck is loaded or empty.

Built for Real Work and Weather: Durable, Low-Maintenance Construction

Each LoadLifter air spring uses a 2-ply, fabric-reinforced rubber bag protected by Air Lift’s exclusive roll plates that guard against abrasion and give better roll action at lower pressures. High-strength Zytel nylon endcaps won’t corrode like steel, helping prevent slow leaks over time. The urethane jounces are maintenance-free and perform in hot or cold conditions so you can trust them all year long.

Set It Up Yourself: Straightforward Installation with Included Hardware

This system comes complete with brackets, mounting hardware, air lines, and manual inflation valves for a clean install in your driveway. Valves can be mounted on the bumper for easy access, or paired with an optional in-cab compressor system for quick adjustments on the go. Once bolted up and aired to your preferred setting, you’ve got reliable suspension support ready for towing, hauling, or everyday driving.

2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
I received the Air Lift Load Lifter Ultimate 5000 today 9/25/25. I read thru the instructions and all of the parts are in the box. I will not have time to install the air bags until next week. The instructions appear to be very comprehensive, very detailed but not beyond my abilities. I am excited to install them on my truck.

The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate air bags work great and are reliable. I ended pairing the with the WirelessOne air compressor with the remote so I could keep a constant PSI while towing. I use them to tweak my Equalizer weight distribution bars while towing, I drop the pressure to stiffen the ride or add pressure to loosen it up. It seems after a year, it's starting to leak a little, but normally all you need to do is reset the hoses that have slipped a little over time.

Bought the same setup for my new RAM 2500

seems well made, and heavy duty. time will tell

2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
Product was just ok the fit was really not that great. one side always seems to leak down, I have checked and rechecked everything but no luck stopping leak. With air in the system it can be hard to get under most trailers as the trailer jacks don't run up high enough so you are always taking air out and adding air back. For my application I am running the min amount of air and having these problems would have expected it at the higher pressures but not at these low numbers.
by:
I have received the above air lift suspension kit. The shipping was quick, but that is all I can review thus far. Also that the “chat room” in ordering process was courteous and informative. Further review forthcoming when this rookie installs them

Great results I used it hauling my race car trailer. I was going to send in an email inquiring about a sponsorship because without Air Lift I couldn’t get to the track!
by:
The ordering process was flawless followed by delivery in 4 days. Load lifters had everything needed and great instructions to install. Less than 3 hours to install and test out. Great product
by:
Best upgrade for towing! Etrailer provided support second to none.
by:
Got here quick and in great condition. I just finished the left side, will do the right side tomorrow it went a little slow because I spent the first hour reading the book and taking inventory of parts I received, as far as I can tell all parts are here. Still have to decide where to put the compresser and the manifold, should finish it tomorrow I will get back to you after I use it. GWI

I was easy to install just a few hours. Everything in the kit fit well. It would be nice if an extension brackets were provided for the brake line/abs wire mounting bars would be included like the brake line adapters that’s provided in the kit is my only recommendation to make it top notch.

Glad to hear the install went smoothly! Thanks for the suggestion on the brake line/ABS brackets too. Definitely something that could make a good kit even better!

Just had them installed, I’ll be hauling a 9800lb travel trailer soon. That will be the real test!
Added 40lbs of air, they sit the rear of truck up nicely.

Works amazing. The install was a little more difficult than it appears… It actually took me and a couple other guys five hours to get it completely installed.
There was a lot of cutting/grinding metal to make pieces fit properly, and had to drop the axel completely… I think that’s only for my gen 2 raptor.
At the end of the day, though I’m very happy with the result

Product works great and helps level the truck during towing. I have noticed a difference in the amount of travel my back wheels have when offloading. But I knew that would be a sacrifice.

Happy to hear these are getting the job done! Your set up looks great, and man! What a beautiful picture. Blue, sunny skies, green grass, a cool breeze (I'd wager) perfect day to hitch up the trailer and get some work done!

Been great! I really don’t like the internal jounce stops though. When you are unloaded and running lower bag pressure, a dip or bump will hit the bump stops really hard and jar your passengers in the backseat. It’s almost too uncomfortable to ride in the backseat now. As for the loaded and high pressure performance it’s great! Great handling and no sag at all when towing.

by:
The truck rides much better now, though I haven’t yet towed with the air bags yet. The bags took out that annoying side to side movement.
Just great!
Easy to install.

  • What Air Bags do You Recommend for My 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 High Country?
For great air springs for your 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 High Country to help with tongue weight, I recommend the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers # AL88211 (for 8-foot beds only) or # AL88204 (for all other bed sizes). Not only do these air bags fit 2-wheel and 4-wheel drive models, they also provide you with 5,000 pounds of load-leveling capacity that can help with sag and increase handling. It is important to note that air bags are not...

  • Air Suspension for 5th Wheel Towing with a 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 4X4
The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2430 are not compatible with an in-bed hitch like what you have for 5th wheel towing with your 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 4X4, but I do have some other air suspension solutions from Air Lift for you. If you occasionally tow your 5th wheel with your GMC Sierra then you need the kit # AL57204 for a bed shorter than 8' (won't fit with a B&W 5th wheel hitch ) or kit # AL57211 for an 8' bed. If you tow your 5th wheel pretty often then you need kit # AL88204...

Bryon, the reason you are having trouble finding what you are looking for is because they do not exist. Air Lift does not make any kit for your 2014 Ford Expedition. For your 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 we only have 5K spring kits. They have one for an 8' Bed # AL88211 and for the Short Beds # AL88204. For your 1996 P30 we do have the 5K Kit # AL88203 but you must ensure you have a chassis with GVWR of 14,500lbs or less. You will be able to use the Air Lift WirelessAIR Suspension System...

  • Slider Hitch Recommendation for 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 New Body
Since your truck bed is shorter than 6 feet long there's only one slider hitch that will have enough clearance to allow you to make tight turns and that's the Demco Hijacker Autoslide part # DM8550040 which slides back 22-1/2 inches which is about twice as much as other options. Also since this hitch slides back automatically you wouldn't have to worry about getting out and manually operating the slider either. Then to install it in the bed of your 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 you'd need the...

  • Will Air Lift Air Bags Fit 2010 GMC Sierra 1500 With 3" Lift
Hey Cheyenne! What size is your truck bed? If you have the 8' bed then the Air Lift # AL88211 is the correct part. If you have a shorter bed you need the # AL88204 instead. These will work with your lift kit and help level your suspension. The nice thing about them is that they are adjustable so you can set them however you want for regular driving and then for towing. With that 3" lift you will also need to add in a spacer. To find the correct spacer you need to use the formula H - A...

Since your 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 crew cab 4WD has the shorter bed, you will need the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers item # AL88204. • For 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 What is Difference Between Air Lift Kits AL88211 and AL88204
Hey Andy, great question but there is essentially no difference between the part # AL88211 and # AL88204 for your 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500. The kits are basically identical and both fit your truck. Basically they had to make the part # AL88204 for the Limited models in 2019 but found that it also fit the same trucks as the # AL88211 so there is a lot of overlap.

  • Can Brake Line Be Relocated When Installing Air Lift AL88204 On 2016 Chevy 1500 Z71
Hello Phillip, thanks for reaching out. Obstructions from the brake lines is fairly common for these air bag kits. There is really no workaround for this unfortunately. You are correct that you don't want the brake line moving around while you drive. The only option will be to relocate the brake line hold down. There are no specific instructions for this so you will need to get creative. I know this isn't the most helpful thing ever, but you will need to come up with a way to keep the brake...

Hey Charles, Having that in bed hitch is not going to prevent you from installing the Air Lift # AL88211. This air bag kit is compatible with an in bed hitch and does not interfere with the mounting brackets. There is drilling required for this install, I will attach the instructions below and that step is found starting on page 12, but you are not going to have any fitment issues. In regards to installation you can indeed run both air bags to a single inflation value with the Air Lift Union T-Piece part # AL21838. It is not normal for air bags used in the Air Lift systems like the # AL88204, or Firestone systems like the # F2430 to leak air, but due to changes in temperature you could lose a few pounds per month. If you are losing quite a bit of air pressure it is very likely that you have a leak with an air hose, air bag, or valve used to fill the air bags.
