Towing a 2012 jeep JK port door 4x4 behind a 2025 Winnebago EKKO Sprinter -what do I need for flat tow?

Hi Noreen,

To flat tow your 2012 Jeep Wrangler JK you'll need the following components:

Baseplate: etrailer Invisible Base Plate Kit # e98949

Tow Bar: etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar # e34ZR. This tow bar has safety chains bracketed to the arms and comes with a built in rise/drop to help stay level between the two vehicles. You may still need an adapter depending on how high your Wrangler sits so I've attached an article below that will help you measure your rise/drop.

Tow Bar Wiring: Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-15267. This will splice into your tail light wiring to display your EKKO's traffic signals.

Braking System: Demco Stay-IN-Play Duo # SM99251. This is fixed system that will stay mounted inside your vehicle and be ready to go without all the setup that a portable system requires.
