If you like your vehicle to keep its clean, factory look when you’re not towing, this setup does exactly that. The invisible design means there’s no bulky crossbar or brackets sticking out. The removable draw bar arms stay on your tow bar instead of the bumper, so once you disconnect, there’s nothing in the way. The bracket spacing is 22-1/4" with a bracket height of 18-3/4", giving you solid reference points when setting up your tow bar height.

It fits like it should
A bit of wrestling to install, but easily accomplished with hand tools. Worth the half day to install it over to 1000 dollars labor to have it installed. Fits up nice and tight under bumper, minimal impact on approach angle. A good balance of good for towing and still off-road friendly.
The installation information is seriously lacking! It does not identify the Manufacture's name, the instructions are so bad...the only possible way to get a full understanding was to watch an on line video...not the easiest way when the jeep is outside , not in my house! Other than that little [hiccup], it's great.
Had to have it drop shiped at our campground. Lucky i had the tools with me to install. For the most part it was pretty straightforward,but the passenger side bracket had about a half inch gap so i had to leave the lockwasher out so that i had enough threads to get the bolt to start. Once it was started it pulled up tight. I give it 4 stars due to the two tab nuts not being long enough. If the tabs were an inch longer you could actually hold it in place and it would install much easier. Cant thank etrailer enough for doing everything they could to help me get back on the road 1100 miles from home.

Easy quick connect and disconnect, easy to install
Nice product. Not as heavy duty as my previous road master baseplate but I’m sure it will hold up just fine. Fitment a little off. Took a little effort to get two bolt holes aligned but they went in. The backer nuts that go inside the frame are a little tricky to hold. Especially on passenger side. Again just have to be patient. I used a step drill for 1/2” holes through the frame. Worked great. From start to finish. 2.5 hours I have all the proper tools. If you are not a decent mechanic, it could take you much longer. Watch the video. Take your time
Had more trouble getting the bumper off then putting the base plate on
Super simple install and stealthy look once installed. This looks way better than any other baseplate on the market. A+
Took some time but made it fit
Well built, and straightforward installation using the video showing install on 2016 Wrangler. Looks good and I saved a ton of $$ doing it myself. Requires drilling 2 holes in frame but easy to do with strong drill and right bit.
Gave it four stars because it was delivered the box was damaged. I don’t think the product is damaged. I haven’t had time to put it on yet but everything looks good and I’m hoping for the best.
