Can a 2024 Chevrolet Traverse Z71 Be Dolly Towed?

Question:
I have a 2024 Chevrolet Traverse Z71. This is only model in series with a Twin clutch AWD. The Owners Manual is for all 2024 Chevrolet Traverses New Version and does not differentiate between transmission types in Owners Manual recrwational vehicle towing section. Dolly tow is allowed and flat tow is not. I already checked with Chevrolet directly and no additional info is there. My Question is can or should I tow my model vehicle with tow dolly using the instructions in manual? Before I purchase tow dolly, I am trying to confirm this. The different transmission type in the Z71 AWD model makes me nervous and wanted to see if anyone has experience with this.

Hey Eric! I got a similar answer from Demco when I reached out to them. They are waiting on GM to give the ok on dolly towing. Flat towing, like you said, is a hard no though. I do not recommend dolly towing your Traverse Z71 until GM gives out a definite yes and clear guidance on the procedures.
An additional concern is the weight and tread width of your Traverse. Our highest capacity tow dolly is the Demco Kar Kaddy X Tow Dolly w/ Disc Brakes item # DM9713093. It tops out at a 4,800 lbs capacity and your vehicle weighs between 4,630 lbs and 4,850 lbs depending on which website you're looking at. That's also the factory number with varying options. The maximum tread length is 78".
