Hello Jeff, thanks for reaching out. The best hitch for your 2025 Ford Maverick is the Tow Smart Trailer Hitch # TS22VR. This is the best hitch because it has a higher towing capacity (4500 lbs) and tongue weight capacity (675 lbs) than any other hitch made for this vehicle.
For the wiring harness the best option is the Tekonsha OEM Harness # TK95VR. This will come with everything you need to add a 7-way to your Maverick, including all of the necessary wires for a brake controller.
For the brake controller I recommend the Redarc # RED52VR. This will install behind the dash so it will have a nice factory look in your new Maverick. All you will see if the small LED control knob. You can use the Redarc Tow-Pro Wiring Adapter # 331-TPH-017 for a plug and play installation.
