Question:
I have a 2006 Dodge 2500 5.9L Diesel truck. It has a 7 pin connector already, but I need a plug to connect to the 7 pin and then be capable to connect to my 4 pin boat trailer. Do you have this type of connector with a cord long enough to connect to my trailer? The 7 pin on my truck bumper has 56038366AB. Hope you can help. Thanks

Hello Steve, thanks for getting in touch. Your best option here will be to replace the current 7-way plug. Assuming your 7-way is from the factory, you can swap it out with the Multi-Plug T-One Connector Assembly for 7-Way & 4 Pole Trailer Connector # 20135. This will plug in to the factory connector (pictured below) and provide you with both a 7-way and a 4 flat, allowing you access to both at once.
As far as an extension for the boat trailer you can use a 4-flat harness like part # A20WB to extend the 4 flat. Or you can do a 4-pole extension like part # HM47114. You would need to get some additional wire and splice the ends together, since I doubt 48" will be long enough.

Thanks Jessie, honestly I would rather not replace existing 7 pin, I would rather just have a "plug and play". Plug into my existing 7 pin then be capable to plug my 4 pin into it. Hopefully you can help me with this. I appreciate your help very much. Please reply. Thanks, Steve Dockery
