This heavy-duty underbed gooseneck hitch is designed for serious towing. With a 30,000-lb gross towing weight and 7,500-lb vertical load rating, it’s ready for large livestock, dump, or equipment trailers. The double-lock system uses two pins instead of one for extra holding power and a secure connection that doesn’t shift under load. When you’re moving heavy cargo, you can count on this hitch to stay locked in tight.
The handle sits inside the wheel well so you can lock or unlock the ball from the side of the truck. Pull the handle out, drop in the chrome-plated 2-5/16" ball, then rotate the handle until both pins snap into place. The dual-pin design gives you added security compared to single-pin hitches. When you’re done towing, flip the ball upside down and lock it back into the hitch for clean storage and easy access next time.
Once the trailer’s unhooked, just remove the ball, flip it over, and drop it back in upside down. The below-bed design keeps everything flush so your truck bed stays open for hauling gear or materials. The included rubber cover fits over the ball hole to keep out dirt and grime while giving the bed a clean look.
The hitch comes with a custom mounting kit and Grade 8 hardware for a solid installation—no welding required. You’ll need to drill a 4" hole in the bed for the ball opening, but the rest bolts up cleanly under the bed rails. If you ever want more clearance between your truck cab and trailer, add the Curt 4" Offset Ball?# C602 (sold separately).

It works great in my dually for the 35'horse trailer.
I havnt towed with it yet, but this hitch seems to be very well built. Install was easy, I'm pretty handy and it took me about an hour and a half, would have been 45 minutes if I had a helper. Hardest part was my bed is bowed from use and the cross pieces were very snug between the bed and the frame.
Easy install, works great in my 97 dodge! I did make a longer rod so that it was easily reached in wheel well otherwise would have to have cut large hole in plastic well to activate handle
Great products, shipping was slow, but that is because they were waiting on the manufacturer. And it was missing a set of hardware, however once I contacted them about it they mailed it right out.
This is a great hitch. Quality is great. And functions easily..shipping was fast aswell.
Fit great didn’t have to do anything that wasn’t in the directions for installation. Some kits say direct fit but you have to cut here bend there.

I haul a 30ft 4 horse trailer almost weekly. I've had no problems with this hitch at all! I love the stability of double pins, and easy install. It's a no brainer!
Im sure the hitch will work as it should i have installed a number of curt hitches the reason its not 5 stars is because shipping not etrailer or curts fault but the carrier dosent take care of packages at all only problem os some bolts are missing but i can pick up ay the hardware store
I received the hitch package and the trailer ball was missing. I installed the hitch, (which was pretty easy) and called customer service to ask about the missing ball. Customer service was great to work with. I sent an email showing the beat up box and they sent me a new ball within the week. I am very impressed with etrailer’s product and the willingness of their employees to stand by what they sell. Big fan.

Package shipped on time and was a day early. The installation took around 3 hours but that is due to no lift and working on the ground. Good instructions for installation and so far good quality. Packaging was a little bit rough but think that is due to the carrier. All parts were there and accounted for. etrailer has good reviews and its because they care and are easy to work with. Would recommend this product to others.

Have hauled several gooseneck and stock trailers and have no issues. The ball still locks and is in good condition. Very satisfied with the purchase
Would have gone better if I had read directions first. Went well after that
I order a few hitchs from etrails they always show up fast to my door. I install a curt trailer hitch on my 1996 dodge ram 2500 install was fast and easy took me about 20 mins. Now I have order this curt goose neck hitch for my 1996 haven't got to install it yet but will in the next day. I am sure the install will be fast and clean like the trailer hitch was. Both hitches that I installed still work great. I hauled a bunch of stuff this year from small lawnmowers to hualing my 25ft pj gooseneck pulling skid steers. Never had a issue they been great
Install was great, the only problem I had is that the release rod is not long enough it interferes with the air bags. 4 inches longer would be great.
Installation was fairly easy on my 2001 Ram 2500. My brother and I got it installed in about 2.5 hours. Simple and solid design. Hooked up 38' car hauler and off we went. Only problem we had was the measurement Curt provides for the 4" hole location in bed floor was about 3/16" too far toward the cab, hitch lines up with hole but on my truck it is not centered (bed floor brace prevented us from being able to move hitch further forward). Not a big deal!
Great product but the instructions are a little muddied. I replaced a welded in under bed gooseneck hitch with this unit. I chose this unit over a single pin gooseneck flip ball for the added mental security as well as potential for less rattle
This was so much harder to install than I was led to believe! Because I have air bags on my truck which your install info didn’t even address!

Apologies the install was more difficult than you expected Clay and yes, air bags can make the gooseneck install a bit more involved. Unfortunately the manufacturer doesn't include that information because there's many different configurations of air bags. Thanks for pointing this out and we appreciate you choosing etrailer! What are you towing with the gooseneck hitch?
