Question:
2024 Ford Maverick Attempting to install a small set of lights on rear bumper as a secondary set. Tied into both turn signal wires and 3rd light and lights are still blinking when brake pedal and turn signals activated. However works well when just using the brakes, or just using the signals. But as soon as you press the Brake pedal when making a turn, lights flash.

Hey Sargon,
What lights did you install on your Maverick? I see you were looking at the 3rd Brake Light Logic Module # PP20-702 and that you've ordered it. This module blocks out the turn signal so the light shouldn't blink and should be solid red while the brakes are being applied if wired correctly. How exactly is the light wired to your signals?

Hi Kevin, I currently have a left and right turn signal wire from both taillights running down to the small set of red brake lights. Here’s how it’s connected: Left Turn Wire —> 3rd Logic Module Yellow Wire Right Turn Wire —> 3rd Logic Module Yellow Wire 3rd Logic Module —> Green 12V Wire —> Positive Wire Small Set Brake Lights Car Ground —> Negative Wire Small Set Brake Lights What I think is happening is that the logic module sees that when the brake light is applied, and the left or right signal is blinking, it thinks that the brake lights are being applied because voltage is being sent to both the yellow wires as the brake and turn signals on the Ford Maverick is shared. How can I work around this?
