Is There a 7-Way Extension For Truck Camper to Truck

Hi, I just bought a 2003 Eagle Cap slide in camper. The 7 pin cord coming out of the camper is too short to reach the back of my trucks 7 pin connecting point. I was wondering if you have an extension the could connect to the camper cord and back to the truck connector? Thanks Charles Cisco

Hi Charles,

Yes, we have connectors that go from the 7-way on your camper to the 7-way on your truck; you can use either the 10 foot long TorkLift Wiring Harness Extension # TLW6510 or Curt 7 foot long # C56080.

The Curt says it is 5th wheel/gooseneck but it's the exact same thing, just a 7-way to 7-way extension.

You will have to go with a sliding hitch to allow the trailer to make tight turns. For a trailer 8 feet wide the only bed length that's going to allow 90 degree turns without a slider is a stationary hitch. That being said you have two options.…
