These custom fit tie-downs give you the safest and most comfortable ride when hauling a camper. They mount to the frame of your pickup - no drilling required! With the arms removed, the brackets can barely be seen.
Features:
If you're looking for the best tie-downs for your camper, frame-mounted is the way to go. The frame is the most solid part of your entire vehicle, so it just makes sense to attach your camper to something that's not going to warp, bend, or twist. Even more importantly, the camper's center of gravity will sit lower and its weight will be spread across the entire bed. This avoids a top-heavy load perched on top of your bed rails that's liable to sway and get pushed around by crosswinds. The camper's not going to shift or slide around while you drive; it's going to stay put, and your truck is going to handle just like it does without a camper.
Quick Tip: If you have a plastic or spray-in bed liner, it's important that you use a rubber mat under the camper to eliminate any sliding or bouncing.
Frame-mounted tie-downs are also a great pick for preserving your truck's good looks. The brackets install on the frame, tucked nearly flush with the underside of the vehicle. Remove the arms from the brackets when you're not hauling your camper, and the brackets will be barely visible.
Completely custom to your vehicle, the tie-downs attach to exisiting holes in your frame so that there's little to no drilling and no need for any modifications. Because they're custom, you'll want to use our in-house application guide to make sure you get the exact right model. The tie-downs you need might be different depending on what type of hitch or other accessories you have.
Once the tie-downs are installed, use a set of turnbuckles (sold separately) to secure the camper to the tie-downs. The shank on each arm has 2 pin holes so you can choose how far out they extend, that way the turnbuckles can reach the anchors on your camper without making contact with your truck. Tighten the turnbuckles to the correct level of tension (not too tight!).
Make sure the anchor points are offset from the tie-downs instead of lined up with them so that they will hold your camper from multiple angles. This is important for keeping your camper from shifting. Two holes in the attachment plate of the tie-downs let you find the best angle for you camper anchors.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at these Torklift custom frame mounted front and rear camper tie downs. Now, these tie downs are going to provide attachment points at the front and back of the bed of your truck to help you secure your bed mounted camper. I do wanna point out that turnbuckles are required to attach your camper to these tie downs, and if you do not already have turnbuckles, you can find them here at etrailer.com. Now, these tie downs have been designed to fit your 2020 and newer Jeep Gladiator with the factory hitch, and on custom fit parts, such as these tie downs, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com.
Just input the year, make, and model of your vehicle and answer any other questions the fit guide might have for you, and our fit guide will confirm if these tie downs will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. Something else that I wanted to mention is if you have a plastic or spray-in bed liner, it is important that you use a rubber mat under your camper to eliminate any sliding or bouncing. So the frame mounted design of these tie downs are going to ensure excellent handling because securing your camper to the base of your Jeep instead of its bed is going to better distribute weight to keep your setup from being too top-heavy. These brackets are going to fit tight to the frame of your vehicle, so there's not gonna be any loss of ground clearance. These are gonna use pre-existing holes in the frame.
So there's really gonna be little to no drilling required upon installation. These steel tie down inserts are going to secure to these durable steel receiver brackets. The inserts can be easily removed from the frame mounted brackets with the included bail pins that you see here, and that's gonna make the tie downs virtually undetectable when they're not in use. So let me give you a brief demonstration of that. I'm just gonna remove this bale pin here.
Just like that. Put my block back into place there and just slide this out. So as you can see, once you have that insert removed, you're really not gonna be able to notice that receiver bracket underneath the bed of your truck. I did want to show you, let me come in a little bit closer here, that on these inserts we're gonna have these two holes here. So if your camper happens to be a little bit wider, you're just going to secure this insert with the first hole here.
And then if your camper is a little bit narrower, you're just going to use that second hole there to bring that insert in a little bit closer into the bracket. And then you'll just run the bale pin through that hole. Now, both of the inserts and the brackets have a powder coat finish that's going to give you an extra layer of protection. So it's gonna do a good job of resisting corrosion. And I'm just gonna go ahead and replace my bail pin here. And then once you have that in place, that's going to secure the insert into the bracket. So you are going to receive everything that you see here on my table before me. You're going to get two front tie down inserts, and then the two rear tie down inserts along with the two front and two rear brackets. You're going to get all of the hardware that you're going to need for installation as well as instructions to guide you through the installation process. So everything that you see here, these are made here in the USA and they do have a lifetime warranty from Torklift. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that our time together has been helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
