Features to know about

Stable Handling on Long Trips: Frame-Mounted Tie-Downs

These custom fit tie-downs mount directly to your truck’s frame for the most secure and balanced way to carry your camper. By anchoring at the frame instead of the bed or bumper, the camper’s weight is spread evenly and the center of gravity stays low. That means no top-heavy sway or shifting when facing rough roads, wind, or long-distance hauls. Your truck will handle just like it does without a camper attached.

Install Without Drilling: Custom-Fit Design

The tie-downs bolt on using pre-existing holes in the frame, so installation is clean and straightforward. There’s little to no drilling and no major modifications needed. Because they mount snug against the frame, you don’t lose ground clearance or risk dragging hardware when driving off-road or over uneven terrain.

Keep a Clean Look: Removable Arms and Hidden Mounts

When the camper’s off, you can remove the tie-down arms and leave the brackets in place—tucked neatly under the truck where they’re barely visible. This setup keeps your truck looking stock while still being ready for your next trip at a moment’s notice.

Built Tough: Powder-Coated Steel Construction

Made of durable steel with a high-impact powder coat finish, these tie-downs resist corrosion and wear from road salt, rain, and mud. They’re designed to hold up through heavy use and seasonal weather so you can rely on them year after year without worrying about rust or weakening parts.

Secure Connections: Adjustable Arms with Dual Anchor Holes

Each arm has two pin holes to fine-tune how far it extends from the truck body, giving you clearance for sidewalls and fenders. The attachment plates also include two anchor holes so you can set the right angle for your turnbuckles (sold separately). This flexibility helps lock your camper down tight from multiple angles for a more stable setup on every trip.

Perfect fit for our 2025 Ford F250 Super Duty!

by:

Overall, very well built and finished. A bit challenging to install without a lift but doable. I'm a pretty visual person. Sometimes, in the instructions, the picture or diagram was not on the same page as the explanation. Also, with the installation of the rear brackets on my 2025 Ford F250, I needed two additional 1/4" spacers and longer bolts. This made for a trip to the hardware store and changed a 20 minute installation into an almost 2 hour task.

by:

So far I really love these. But I haven't completed installation of front brackets. What I love was how easy back ones installed, and the video to help with front installation is fantastic. I'm not concerned with installing front myself except for loosing nuts on leaf springs. I do think you need to explain that this needs to be done, because every do it yourselfer may not have the tools to loosen such big bolts and nuts.

Great product easy install

by:

The torque lift camper tiedown system looks wonderful. It was a little time consuming in a bit challenging to install. Originally I ordered the wrong application for my truck, but their customer service is outstanding and I shortly received the correct application.

by:

Expensive but they work as intended. Solid mounts!

by:

Real nice quality

Make it easy to load and unload the cam per

by:

Time will tell if the paint holds up but great so far

by:

My experience started off a little shaky having received the wrong fit for the model of my truck.. the issue was quickly dealt with and replaced, however the bolt layout of the new tie down left one bolt missing.. after a year of use , and taking my truck and slide in camper to many off road 4 wheel drive adventures there have been no problems..

by:

Can’t imagine a better product! Highly recommend!

by:

I don't know if these tie downs are over engineered or under engineered. Seems like they could have made them a little simpler and the instructions are kinda terrible, but they will function very well, and I like that you don't see them very easily on the truck.
etrailer is first rate to deal with. I ordered the wrong ones the first time and they got me the correct item shipped out ASAP. They have always been super helpful when needed and very fast to ship.

by:

All parts came labeled good directions. Nothing missing high quality as well.

I have a 25 F350 Crew Cab with 6.75ft bed and diesel mtor Here is the info I think is important to know before purchasing...

1. If replacing a starter, alternator, radiator, etc doesn't scare you, this kit will be no problem. If you wouldn't tackle the above mentioned jobs, you should probably pay someone to do the install.

2. I have a pretty decent set of tools and I needed to buy three additional sockets for this install. I needed a 30mm standard or deep well socket and a 32mm deep well socket for the leaf spring nuts/bolts. On the passenger side, you can get to the bolt which needs the 30mm socket and an adjustable wrench. On the Drivers side, you need a 32mm deep well socket for the nut and an adjustable wrench. To remove the fuel tank shield on the drivers side, you will need a 15.5mm or a 19/32 socket, neither of which are common. A 15mm and 9/16 won't fit and a 16mm or a 5/8 is sloppy and you are very likely to round off your bolts. Ask me how I know...

2. The rear tie downs and spacer plate required quite a bit of grinding before they would fit inside the factory receiver hitch ends. I wasted my time carefully grinding the spacers to fit only to find that the whole assembly needed grinding to make fit. Don't make that mistake, just bolt on the spacer plate and grind the entire assembly to fit. You'll get it and if you do a good job, it'll be a nice and snug fit. When I I got the fit I wanted, I spray painted the bare steel to prevent rust, but it's hidden inside the factory hitch rails so likely no one would ever see it if it did rust.

4. This kit was designed for a truck with a gas motor. There is a support bracket for the front passenger side tie down. It is supposed to go under an exhaust hanger and use the factory exhaust hanger bolts to secure. My diesel did not have an exhaust hanger in that area, but it did have the holes in the frame for it. I asked ETrailer what to do and they said to return the product. I asked Torqlift and they told me to omit the support bracket. What I did instead was to fish in some 3/8 bolts, washers and star washers to connect the bracket. There was a 3/8 fish wire in the kit, so that worked out well. I think the nicer solution would be to buy the factory clip nuts and bolts for the exhaust hanger, it would certainly have been way easier, but my local dealer didn't have them in stock an they were quite expensive. $78 for 4 clip nuts and $20 for 4 bolts. Lastly, the diesel has a wire clip that will be in the way of the above mentioned support bracket. I ground the corner of the support bracket off to make it fit and then painted the exposed metal. This wouldn't be an issue for a truck with a gas motor.

The install was more involved than I expected. I suspect TorkLift needs some updates to this kit for 2023+ trucks and that this wouldn't have been a big deal for a 2022 or older truck.

Despite all of the hassle, I'd probably choose to buy this kit again. It's very solid and I think I'd break a camper connection point before breaking any part of this tie down kit. If you're pretty handy, tackle the job. If you aren't, you'd probably be better off paying for the install.

by:

Did an awesome job installing all 4. And would highly recommend to everyone who needs it done.

by:

Excellent quality. Very helpful staff. I called after ordering to verify they’ll fit, as I was under a tight schedule buying a new camper. Very confident in their technical support team. Arrived on schedule. Installed with zero issues.

by:

This kit is a solid support system, very beefy. The tie down points on your camper will get ripped out before this would fail.

I love these TorkLift tie downs, and it is great to hear you are liking the quality as well. What kind of truck camper are you going to be running with these?

by:

Almost perfect fit for my 2024 F250 XLT. Needed to modify some and add a spacer on one side. Not sure if it was the truck issue or the tie down.

by:

I am a bit disappointed because the rear TorkLift tie down that you sent me was not what I ordered. You sent me the part for a Dodge Ram 350 not for 2022 Ford F250 diesel. The front tie down is the right part. I'm waiting for the returning label to be emailed to me to be able to send it back to you, and get the rear tie downs that I've ordered for 2022 F250 . Thank you!

by:

Installation was fairly simple, instructions were good and I had everything I needed.

by:

I installed these on a 2019 F250 Super Duty. The most challenging step was loosening the leaf spring nuts. Once that was done, the install was a piece of cake. Tehran not in use, they are not very noticeable. They are very sturdy and hold the camper securely. Although the entire system (w/fast guns) is a bit pricey, they are well worth it!
