Replacement Rear Wheel Holder Assembly for Older Thule T2 Hitch Bike Rack

Question:
I have a 12 yr old thule hitch style 2 bike rack. The rear tire holder had a 2 action strap. The strap and ratchet, rachet was rivited to tire holder fell off. Is a replacement part available?

To replace the rear wheel holder on your older Thule T2 bike rack you need the part # 7521568001. I confirmed this with the parts list from Thule - they made their newer wheel holders have the same basic profile so it's backwards compatible as far as generations go.
I will say, I'm impressed that you're still using that relic! Just goes to show that if you properly take care of something, it will last you a really long time!
