I am a DIY person. This my second bike rack to make and this Yakima ratchet strap with the metal mounting bracket is the perfect solution to strapping the tires into the rack. Strong, Good release levers, lenghth of strap perfect.

Its been a year and the ratchet strap, used for securing the tire to the bike rack, has been working great. Thanks for the support.
I broke the ratchet clamp on my Yakima bike rack and couldn't find a replacement for only the ratchet clamp. I bought this assembly and removed the clamp and used it to fix my rack. Thanks for stocking this part.

The clip was plastic and the original was metal and the plastic failed almost immediately so I had to buy anotherone which has it arrived yet,,, I hope it is not the same quality as last one or I will send it back and look locally fora better one— I am dealing with e trailer—
