Hi Susan!

While I do have an option that will work for you, the original rear trays for the Thule T2 916XTR are no longer available, unfortunately. You may be able to find some out there, but with the rack being discontinued in 2016, it won't be easy. The part number for them was 753-3582.

The better option would be to go with # 7521568001. These are technically fat bike trays, but there is absolutely no reason they can't be used with a more standard size tire. Plus they fit perfectly! We also have # 8523598001 if your front trays are looking a little worse for wear. These are also fat bike parts, but again, can be used with smaller tires.

Did your current trays break?

Ok, saw your post about what models this part can replace ( TH9034, TH9035? TH9036 ). It SADLY does not include my T2 916 X TR. I think I can get by with two straps ( hoping they fit the case that is in good shape. ) Let me know if I can buy 2 straps with locking mechanism.

@Susan I wish we could update that part of the page. It technically doesn't say it will fit your 916XTR, but we have confirmed with Thule that it actually will. If you wanted to just go with a strap though, we do also have the # 853-7002 that will fit. The locking/ratchet system would not be available on its own and does come on the actual tray. Let me know if you need anything else! : )

@LazerS I’ts the locking mechanism on the strap thats dead, dead, dead! My bar is square, and the unit appears to be rounded on top. But… If you guys say it will fit, I’ll order the two. Anything will be better than carting my Bianchi around in the back area of my Yukon! I’m assuming I’ll just order off the web site like a real person (without problems ??) would do! Thank you for your help Miss Shelly!!!!

@SusanS Yep! Just click the part, add it to the cart, and go through the check out process. Bianchi makes some nice road bikes! Definitely get why you wouldn't want to just toss it in the back of your Yukon. I used to ride a GT road bike back in the day (forget which model). Did the Tour De Sewer in Los Angeles a couple times on it back in the early 2000s. Sad to hear GT might be going away. : (

LazerS, Apologies… I thought Shelly was feminine. Picture looks like a cool dude! No, my trays are not broken. The lock on the strap is what broken. My tires are the skinny ones, road bike size. Suggestions? Susan.

@Susan Haha! No worries. : ) Even though these say they are for fat bikes, skinny road style tires will be perfectly fine.
