Question:
Hello, I’m looking for a trailer wiring harness that includes trailer brakes for a 2021 jeep grand Cherokee. The only wiring harness I’ve found on your website for my vehicle has a 4 pole connector when I need a 7 way. Do you have a 7 way wiring harness for a 21 jeep grand Cherokee?

Hi Jeremy; is this a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee or Grand Cherokee L? You have the L in our fitguide so I'm not sure. Either way, without the factory tow package you will need to install a 4-way and then a universal 7-way. There are no plug and play options for an aftermarket 7-way. If you have the regular Grand Cherokee you can use the # C62VR and if you have the Grand Cherokee L the # C27BR for the 4-way.
For the 7-way you need the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7. This comes with the adapter, wiring, and everything else you need to upgrade your 4-way to a 7-way. Since you want to tow a trailer with brakes you will also need a brake controller like the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty # RED52VR. This brake controller installs behind the dash so only the control knob is visible. This gives it a factory look that wont' take up additional space in your Jeep.
