Trailer Wiring Recommendation for 2022 Honda Passport

Question:

What will I need to wire my 2022 Honda Passport to allow me to tow a trailer? Blade connect is fine but if a combo connect that is ok also. Is the comment to the vehicle a diy?

Hey Tim, so the Tekonsha kit part # 118291 is the 7-way kit you'd want for your 2022 Honda Passport which installs easily and has the most reliable converter box. This is the 7-way blade connector though but if you want a 4-way you'd want the part # 118809.

Don’t you have an adapter that allows me to use both the 7 pin plug as well as a 4 pin blade? If so, I am ready to order now. Thanks

@TimB You could replace the 7-way of the kit I mentioned with the part # 30955 and that would give you both a 7-way and a 4-way active at the same time like it sounds like you are looking for.
