Question:

I got the Draw-Tite 76290 from you guys installed on my 2021 Honda Pilot a few months back, and it was a cake walk. I want to get a brake controller and the needed wiring installed now since I will get getting a little camper for the camping season. I am really hoping for easy installations again. Are there such products available for my Pilot?

If you were hoping for easy installs on your 2021 Honda Pilot, you are definitely in luck! To start with, the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118291 is a plug and play option that will be a very easy way to get a 7 Way plug, which is needed for a brake controller. Tekonsha harnesses are also the longest lived option out of all the brands we carry, so this is the one to go with. Since you have the Draw-Tite # 76290 hitch installed, all you will need to get the wiring attached to the hitch is the # PK12711U bracket. I included a picture of how this will go, but it is also quick and easy.

Once this is hooked up, I recommend going with the Curt Echo # C51180 brake controller. This simply plugs into the 7 Way you now have and connects to an app that will need to be downloaded on your smartphone. Once this is done and the initial set up process is complete, you are good to go. Extremely easy to do. The only additional part I recommend with tis controller is the Manual Override Button # C83HR. This can be mounted anywhere with the included double sided tape and it will allow you to use it instead of the app for manual override. It isn't completely necessary, but it is a part that I would get with the controller.
