I just read an answer from an expert on your website that said you can put a 225 size tire on only a 5 inch wide 15-in diameter aluminum wheel?

Hey Richard, I can clear this up for you since it gets confusing when talking about tire and rim sizes. It really depends on the tire because there is no standard when it comes to specific tire sizes. For example, the Westlake ST225/75R15 Radial # LHWL304 fits 15" x 5" and 15" x 6" rims, while the Loadstar ST225/75D15 Bias # AM1ST96 is the same size tire but it actually fits 15" x 6", 15" x 6-1/2", and 15" x 7" rims.
