Getting the right fit matters, and this wheel makes it straightforward. It uses a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern, has a 0 offset, and a 3.19" pilot hole diameter for reliable alignment on compatible hubs. Wheel bolt size is 1/2"-20, giving you solid engagement and proper torque every time you mount it up.
If you like a clean finished look, this wheel pairs nicely with the Americana Trailer Wheel Center Cap item # AM90175 for stainless or item # CXF106B for black. The black cap lines up perfectly with the matte finish and adds that last touch of polish without overdoing it.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Americana 15-inch by five-inch AM03 Series, matte black machined aluminum trailer wheel with the five on four and a half inch bolt pattern. Now this aluminum wheel, it's very durable, lightweight and rustproof. As we mentioned, it's an AM03 Series wheel, which, as you can see, is a five open spoke design in a matte black finish. But if you notice around the openings of the five spokes, they do have a machine silver face, provides a nice, bold, sweet look. And as I mentioned, the black on this is a matte black finish.
They do use a clear coating on both the front and even the back of the wheel to protect the finish. A few dimensions on this wheel, the diameter is 15 inches, which is always measured inside the inside. So if we take a tape measure and we put it on that measurement, you'll see there's your 15-inch diameter. The width is also measured inside the inside, or bead seat to bead seat. So if we do that, you can see there's your five inch width.
Now the bolt pattern on this wheel is a five on four and a half inch bolt pattern. And if you wanna measure that on a wheel, that's an odd number of lugs, like in this case, five. What you'll do is pick any one of the holes, let's say this one, and then you're gonna measure straight across to either one of these holes. But when you measure, it's from the center of the starting hole to the furthest edge of whatever hole you measure to. So if you start here, center of this hole, furthest edge of this hole, it's gonna measure four and a half inches.
So this is a 5 on 4 and a half inch bolt pattern. This does use a wheel lug size of a half inch by 20. Weight capacity on this is 2,200 pounds. Now one of the nice features I like on this wheel is the steel inserts right here in these lug nut wells. That's where you'll put your lug nuts and tighten them down to hold the wheel to your trailer.
The steel inserts in here help keep the wheel securely in place on the trailer hub, prevents any elongating of the hole, keeps it from wearing down, plus it eliminates the need for constant re-tightening of your lug nuts. Now if you notice the center cap is not included, we do sell those separately if you prefer to have one. What you wanna do is when you buy the center cap, you do wanna make sure it has the same diameter as this pilot hole right here that the cap goes through. Diameter on this hole is 3.19 inches. Now this wheel does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation specifications, and the SAEJ 25 30 standards. But that's gonna do it for the review on this Americana 15 inch by five inch AM03 Series, matte black machined aluminum trailer wheel.

I have been happy with the quality of the products we have bought in the past, and have not had any issues.
This latest order has a few problems. one of the rims has been damaged along the edge, it is small and will not effect the bead sealing it is just a eye sore. I cannot wait to get a replacement I have already mounted the tire and installed it on a trailer. Three of the center caps are damaged and not useable. Again i could not wait for replacements since I am leaving with this trailer in 2 days to go out of state. I found the same center caps and purchased them at a local trailer place so I could keep things moving.
The rim is what it is, however I would like you to refund me the cost of the center caps.

Wheels are very close in pattern to the stock Ford Tremor wheels. Much better look on the trailer
I ordered 7 of these wheels. This is an exceptional wheel from Kenda USA. I really appreciate the steel inserts for the lug nuts. They definitely aid in keeping the lug nut torqued to spec. All the wheels came properly packaged and were a great price. One wheel came with an imperfection/damage and the manufacture was prompt to rectify immediately after I sent a video and pictures. I rate this wheel an A++ not to mention they look amazing. Thank you etrailer and Kenda.
Wanted a more modern look and these wheels are beautiful on my enclosed trailer.
Had these delivered and installed on our horse trailer. They look great. There were a couple scuffs from shipping but as this is a horse trailer I was not too concerned. They look great on the trailer.

The rims are fantastic, however the packaging is horrible. These rims apparently bounced back and forth in the box the entire time during shipping.
These aluminum wheels feel a lot more secure when torquing the lug nuts than the white steelies they replaced. Also look much better.
Look really nice. Used them to replace 14” wheels on the camper so I could put heavy duty tires on.
